I don't know if it's just on my end, but none of the files for the game will work for me. Neither Winrar nor 7-zip can open them, I only get a message saying "unspecified error" (or just "archive corrupt in the case of Winrar). The 7-zip file with the no-dvd works fine though. Tried downloading the first part from Mega as well, and it doesn't seem to have made a difference. Giving the torrent a shot now.

Nothing wrong with them Gec, I downloaded them last night right when you put them up (I think about 13 hours ago) and they worked fine. You have to use 7-zip to unpack the game though, winrar will not work.

Nice read but damn, it's short. I think they're  shorter than the Monshiro route in S, although a bit longer and more substance than Magarit route, and it actually has a substance instead of just a **** fest. But the reason it's so short is because you go into the route right away as there is no common route.

I appreciate the confirmation. Although I'm curious as to why these two can't get it to work, hmm.

Yeah, actually, most of the routes in Majikoi! S are pretty short if you cut what happens 'before' the branching as well. I think it's the case for a good deal of other VNs, too.

Like I said Win-rar will not work (for some reason Win-rar  an unpack the single archive file, but doesn't work with split files). As for 7-zip doesn't work ... well just download the latest version.

Something bugging me though. I finished Sayaka and only unlocked 2 out of the 10 replay scence. So maybe I'm missing something or Azumi and Benkei have 4 eachs, which would be a weird disparity.

Also a note: even if you have 7-zip installed already, just re-download the installer and perform a "repair". For some reason the installation of 7-zip becomes corrupt during one of the update or maintenance you may do on your PC that screw up its console.

Yep, there is only two scenes for Sayaka.

Oh, I did not know that. I don't even have WinRAR installed, so I wasn't really sure about that one.

Huh, I ran an old 7-zip installer (9.22 beta) I had lying around in my download folder, and now it works. Strange. Maybe 7-zip does break easily or something.

I used both Winrar and 7zip. Both of them had the same error.

EDIT: Even after updating 7zip, it can't open the file.

when you right click on the first file do you get a 7-zip option that extended to a larger menu that has a bunch of other option like Open Archive, Extract File ...etc... ? Or you just have a line that says "7 zip console" ?

I'm not sure what else to do then. I used the 7z922.exe you can download from http://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenzip/files/7-Zip/9.22/ to open it, and it worked for me, whereas my old 9.20 install couldn't. Not sure if the version is the issue, but that's the only difference I could see. It (9.20) worked just fine on the 7zip files for regular Majikoi that I downloaded from this site, so I'm not sure what would be different about the Majikoi A archives.

Opening it through the 7-zip file manager works perfectly now.

I am still using 9.20 myself, and I don't think I have updated since last year. Used the usual configuration and all for compressing as all my previous uploads, I don't really know why it's failing this time around.
