Not really, it's just them making sure that no one is distributing modified patches and complaining about bugs that weren't introduced by them. Even though their introduction is hilarious:

The patch updated on 13/12 says its on 90% but still have those weirds names. Means its still in alpha?

That or they're just trolling around with the patch, given the QUALITY of the translation until now.

Aren't the weird names just a product of the machine translation being unable to translate names? So so far it's just been a cut paste job, with maybe a few edits here and there. The names should get changed in a re-translation and editing phase. Going to take a while though. Curious how they plan to do it considering how wrong a lot of the machine translation is, I suppose it's a loose guide if they are keeping the original Japanese somewhere to compare later.

That's why they could be trolling and release it just like it is, killing the hopes of everyone waiting for a proper translation. If not, it'll be stuck in editing hell for more than a year.

If it's a troll they're putting way too much time and effort into it. Besides flyable heart is one of those VN where you can get through with minimal japanese understanding. It tends to be the same for all 'school life' genres that don't have complicated plots, and instead the meat of it is based on slice of life small conversation between the characters. The machine translation although wrong can actually be helpful in triggering what you don't get straight away from the Japanese by filling in the gaps for your brain; assuming you at least have some japanese vocab in you mind to consolidate with.

I've seen even worse screenshots and that's why I say that it will get stuck in editing hell, in the case that they are actually serious about translating it.

You can clearly hear Max saying "Tayaki"...

When Amane is saying 'shi shi shi' equivilent of 'sshhhh' (be quiet) it gets translated as 'shit shit shit' in the machine translation, now that ones bad. In your example they had the literal meaning of what taiyaki is so it's not wrong, just a poor localization. We could pick out hundreds of mistakes, but what would be the point we may as well be the ones translating it ;p

Just b/c the machine translation is bad doesn't automatically mean troll.
