Do you want to play it?

Sazabi_MKII

you got copies to give away?  :P

mahou

Severs are down for 8hrs 'maintenance', wonder what they're doing. Pretty funny reading the D3 forums so many ppl QQ; 'games to hard, buff my class and defuff the rest.' LOL

Anyone here made it to Inferno yet? Would have done it today if the servers didn't go down.

Green_Tea

Oh that's so strange. You've been reading the same things I've been reading. This is lol

mahou

Lots of loot grinding to be done in inferno before you can move on. But I guess that's what it's about.

laplacian

Why did they nerf my Energy Shield ?!?!

mahou

So we could no longer solo inferno obviously.

I'm farming Inferno with my DH friend, and I gotta say I'm pretty envious of their stealth skill ... I want invulnerability for my sorc too =(!

So now I've got GW2. Downloading now :3

by the way, SAO is soooo nice. Who else has read the novels?

GW2 is  kind of a dissapointment for me. They hyped it up so much and now it just feels like an average game. Especially the big PvP part, I mean if you have a game which highlights the PvP why only add one gamemode (base capturing). That way even if you got ~5 different maps, it feels all the same.

I really enjoyed the first SAO novel, especially having a japanese main character who aint a whimp and got a nice non braindamaged lover was pretty nice. The second novel was kinda meh, harem style max. And I'm currently stuck on the third, story aint the same without Asuna, and I seriously don't need another Sistercest story (I know he aint up for it, but she defo is and it just feels boring as fuck).

Btw: I really hope http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/obsidian/project-eternity is gonna turn out as good as they make it sound.

The only reason I started (and still am) playing GW2 is mainly because so many friends are playing it, I dislike PVP in general here so I barely did anything on that side here. Storylines are pretty boring too, IMO, lotsa fun times otherwise, I don't expect much from recent games lately, which is kinda sad.

I loved SAO, from start to latest, but I must admit the first volume was the best as far as I am concerned. I wonder, how well is the Anime coping in comparison? I haven't started it yet so I'm curious.

Project Eternity... Yeah, I can't bring myself to have any considerable opinion on a game until I've played it myself after all. x_x A "Kickstarter" Trailer and a few paragraphs doesn't cut it for me.
I find there is too little information out to have a guess at HOW the game could be either, or might just be me having too little of an imagination, at least doesn't seem like anything new so far.

Oh, and Black Mesa was a nice way to pass time when not doing something else too, though short.

laplacian

I'm not even asking for anything innoative with Eternity. Some polished graphics in the infinity engine, as nice new world and a deep story line/ good characters.

Third volume was actually my favourite. Well the part that it gets MIND BLOWININGLY epic is the end of vol 3 anyway. I had a hard time getting through the arc after ALO actually. Also, I may be biased but you can't categorise the author's works like that. It was never meant to be about Kirito and girls, it's the author exploring online/real life interactions through the setting. well I'm not really explaining it well.AND AND, the latest arc is just getting better and better. SAO is so nice. The anime is very true to the novels too, and if you've read vol 1 and 2, while getting stuck on 3, it might put things in a different perspective, since it's in chronological order.

The other thing I've just caught up with is Highschool DxD. Ahhhhhhhh it's also really good in a very similar way. It's a setting that's done a lot, in a genre that's overdone, but with his characters the author is just amazing. Well in SAO the only character that really stands out as original is Kirito, but the rest of the character's aren't bad I guess. Except when they're put alongside Kirito it's just not fair. Ahhh the end of Volume 3 is so goddamn amazing. I really want to watch that in animation.

re: GW2....well I don't play MMO's so I guess it's ok. Remember the D3 fiasco?
