I installed the game and the patch but when i play the game patched (with the lastest v (1152) ) the game always crash at the beginning juste a few line before the op movie , tried without the patch the game works very well , please help u_u even if the translation of the patch isnt very good i dont care but the patch that make the game crash isn't really good u_u thanks even if nobody can help me (hope not)

Did you install the font that they provide in their website (http://flyabletrans.megabyet.net) <read the install information there

How to install this game, because everytime i use the patch, fatal error always come. It's say Fatal Errorpatching file. You may have to reinstall dll\PAL.dll and bgm.pac . Can someone help me to solve this problem? And also how to use NODVD patch and the link? because when i use NODVD patch, the game broken afteri choose new game

So either own the game legit, burn it to a disk and have it inside, use daemon tools virtualization or find a crack. You're honestly better off not playing this with the 'translation' patch though.

I love the title of the thread "Engrish" Just noticed it. Normally I hate the use of that word, but in this case it fits. I would second that you are better off not using this garbage translation patch.

While many have said that it still looks unedited, there was a reason. Several others I had asked to edit wanted to change too much, to the extent mentioned above. My choice was to only try to fix obvious spelling errors, and leave the rest unchanged. Why? To show that this project, my first visual novel translation, is undoubtedly not perfect, to show the flaws that are normal for such. I want to tear down the arrogant "barrier to entry" and classism that surrounds visual novel translation. I want to preserve this imperfection as a first step, a milestone to serve as a reminder to everyone and inspiration to others who are also just starting (and we need more of you!) - there is no need to be ashamed or afraid. Anyone with enough time and determination can do it.

I especially love that "arrogant 'barrier to entry'" line. That arrogant barrier to entry, by the way is actually knowing Japanese (and English) for that matter. This whole thing has been a really bad joke from the start. And quite frankly if you are wasting your time with this patch, the joke's on you.

Lame. I've reached the point near the end of Suzuno's path where Shou tries to call his dad and the game crashes as soon as he picks up the phone. Has anybody else had this problem? Considering that I'm nearly done the game, this is pretty annoying. Oh, and I installed the font pack, so it isn't that.

Did you use the latest translation patch? because I had that problem before using the latest patch

Damn, you're right. I have build 1151 installed, since this game was kind of on the back burner for me. I didn't check for the new version after I installed it back when version 1151 came out a while ago. Thanks for the help, otherwise I might never have noticed.

I got mine from the site listed above. I'm not sure why that "set to private" thing is happening either. Keep in mind, though, you'll still have to go to the translation site below and download the fix file to change the patch to the most current one, as the link above gives you the 1151 build and not the 1152 build. Apply the fix after you install the 1151 build.

Do you mean installing the japanese game or the english translation installer? If its for the game, then simply explore the mounted image and run the setup using applocale. Just for the record, I don't know if the game can run on applocale, as it might only work if your pc is set to japanese locale.

Woops my bad um i just got everything working so i thought i would get rid of it b4 anyone sees but thanks alot for the trouble. Uhm could you give me a step by step procedure on how to install the patch if it isnt too much of a hassle? I am somewhat confused on it. the FHinstaller seems to work on the FH.exe file once it is mounted but not on the FH.exe file in the installation folder D:

Alright, after you install the game you should bring the patch files into the folder where the game is installed (the files fhinstall and fhtrans_1151.d). Next, run the installer and when it gets to the choice that asks you where you installed the game, then put that in that info. That should be it. If you're getting some type of error message, it would help if you told us what it was. I have a sneaky suspicion that applocale is the problem though.
