So, the Chinese government is going to make an agreement with the Portuguese government where they will buy part of the over 400.000.000.000€ Portuguese external debt. Taking into account that, in a good year, Portugal doesn't make more than 10.000.000€ and, on most years, it's in debt, I wonder how long it will take them to annex the Portuguese territory or to sell it in several parts to other countries?
The Portuguese President is already welcoming our new Chinese overlords.

Regarding the Chinese government buying external debts, there are talks that they will also do it with Spain, Italy and Greece. The EU looks like a sinking ship.
