Jaooooo~

Jao~ isn't that just mirrormoon's translation. I mean it has to be hard to keep everything as the author intended when you're not doing it in the original language.
I asked on /jp/ and they said that in the original Shiki and SHIKI are spelt with different Kanji. That's less silly (And kudos to MirrorMoon for finding any way to translate that accurately) but it's still just as obvious if not more.
ze!

I claim cultural differences.

Because you wouldn't notice the difference when reading the kanji, right?

Kureha, that reminds me of the problems that a friend of mine had to get a job. He got a Bachelor on Computer Networks Administration, but every employer asked for 3 years or more of experience.

Usually the answer is to start early, do a variety of part-time jobs and get good references from them. I've had 3 part time jobs so far, going for a fourth. Hopefully that'll look good on my resume. Then again you don't want too many or people might think you get bored easily.

Yes, exactly.

pretty much a lose-lose situation

Green_Tea

This is depressing. As if we're not almost all NEET/jobless/hikki.

That's the way this hobby works.

Paranoia and Conspiracy Theories FTW!
Please don't mind me. Most of the time I don't make much sense... and mostly I don't even try to.

In his case, he didn't have the options "to start early" or "to get part-time jobs". He would have to do a internship, a.k.a. working for free, if he wanted to get the needed job experience. Psychology and other areas suffer from the same problem.

Luckily I should get on a research placement this summer between my final two years.

That will look very very good on my CV.
