Aviation engineer by trade, storyteller by heart. While I spend my days ensuring aircraft stay in the sky, my nights are for diving into worlds of fiction. Whether it's a well-maintained engine or a well-written novel, I appreciate the craftsmanship behind both.

Seems interesting i beleve there is ~ 1 volume worth of content out.

I also thought it's interesting a few months agon so i read the raws up to araound chapter 170.
And believe me, it's absolute shit.

It could have been really good but then it turns to just japanese culture overglorification.
Especially when they traveled to an oriental country called "Kagura" which is just like OLD JAPAN!
It has all those rice ball, hot spring, tempura, kimono, and other typical/stereotype japanese products.
Like wtf!? what's the point of this being an isekai!?

And that "slow-life" in the title is no joke.
It truly was f*cking SLOW LIFE!!

There's also the MC who is so dumb that he doesn't use his unique spatial magic to escape from his sister's bullying.
DUDE USE IT MORE!!

There's no action, no thrill, no twists.
Just your everday japanese guy doing japanese things, with a bit of magic.

It's shit

The king has spoken indeed I'll take his word for it

I know this almost 2 years later but I liked the web novel because it was just....dumb.  I mean, I didn't have to think too much about what I was reading.  I could just enjoy the story for what it was.  To Traitor's point, there are times when the MC could do a lot more (at the point I'm at in the raws, I'm pretty sure he could rule the world) but he doesn't.

Couldn't we say that about a lot of the novels though?  I mean, not just translated works but all fictional novels.  Sometimes we just have to live with/enjoy the worlds the authors give us. That said, Traitor is my dang source for translated novels....so dang. :-)
