(I've gotta say... the voices... were more loli than I expected... if that's a possible description... and sometimes I feel the voices don't match the character since I did my first playthrough without voice... Keifa for example... Sui's voice took some getting used to but it does match her personality...)

I'm being a hypocrite as I say this but... I've gotta say good job MG, since at least in the first bit, they should work hard to prevent pirating... after they made 2000 sales it'll matter less... I mean it looks really bad for their future projects if they can't make their goal.

... What I mean to say is that I like them better than those with even more endless delays despite picking up fan translation...

I'm eager to see your reaction when someone links you to MG or JAST's site the next time you ask for links.

well... I doubt I'd react much considering that happens all the time outside this forum (this place is heaven compared to /jp/ and /a/...) =-=" basically I'm saying it would be nice if those who could afford the game contributed to the 2000 sales helping future MG projects along (maybe shin koihime or something)...

You know that I restrain myself on K1, don't you? And not in the sense of "UMAD?" or childish insults, like a typical shitposter.

On another note, we should avoid posting Koihime here until we know how far we can go, and avoid giving direct links to K1 on future JAST and MG's release threads. If someone is going to link us, at least, do it on the archive.

The release threads are always monitored, and we were avoiding to link K1 on them until someone had the brilliant idea to show off the Mediafire links that I had copied from the archive over there. Other people also linked erogedownload on the same thread and they also went after them.

EDIT: I'm not making sense even to myself. It's time for me to go to sleep.

Alright, here we are:

Koihime Voice Patch 2.0rc1 HOTFIX 1:

-solves Chouun home base crash issue

INSTALLATION: Overwrite the SNCHOUN-009.snx in your Baseson/koihime folder with the one provided.

TO AVOID A CORRUPTED SAVE:
-First make sure you're starting with a good save (not crashing now). Any save made on version 1.x of the voice patch WILL NOT WORK (probably).
-Save anywhere on the main storyline (not a home base), replace the file, continue playing.

So long as your current save is not corrupted swapping out the file shouldn't harm anything. Really the only thing that will cause you an issue is if you're on the specific home base that crashes the game (snchoun-009) when you change out the file - but for the sake of simplicity I recommend you just make sure you're somewhere on the main storyline.

A quick check has been done across all the scripts in the hopes of avoiding this particular issue in the future. Everything looks good, but a much more thorough check will be done with the release of 2.0rc2 (in which we hope to include both this hotfix and the Ougi voice).

If you find any more errors, please do report them.

make absolute sense. when I saw links to no-ip and erogedownload on /jp/ I had a guess this would happen. now no-ip site gone and all the hotfile links on erogedownload are dead. funny how I found this page by /jp/ (and a love hate relationship is born for /jp/) maybe a twitter page would help to keep all inform but don't know how safe that is.

I don't have a problem with /jp/, they only needed to know that something was "on K1" and no one would ask for addresses or anything like that because they knew what we were talking about, but there are people that like to think that they are doing us a favor by going all "herp derp I post on K1 and I want links for this game" or "I come from K1 and we have links from this game" with full addresses on their posts and all that. It's not like we never posted the address over there, but not on release threads. It was a known fact that MG monitored those threads even before they started reporting everything on them.
