I haven't been on lately due to: anime club commitments. Fun actually seeing as we do stuff like arcade and play dota and have gaming sessions. uhh also have a job now. Good hours though. I miss you all D=

I don't need any make-up. I'm above average, so I'm pretty confident that the reason isn't my look... But, I guess that my eyes don't help at all, given how bloodshot and swollen they are due to Grave's ophthalmology, it looks more like I'll rape the interviewers and steal their money than that I'm applying for a job.

At the grocery store I work at they hired a literal murderer - granted, he didn't murder anybody until a decent while after he was gone, but when he murdered a dude and got in the paper a week or so ago, the people who worked with him weren't at all surprised he'd do such a thing. Also I'm pretty sure one of the stock "boys" is like 40 years old and lives with his mom because he has long greasy hair but is clearly balding.

My point is either my grocery store is fucked up or it takes more than a perma-rapeface to scare those sorts of places away from hiring you.

Yeh no kidding, so many crazies and morons seem to be able to get hired.

You could always let interviewers know you have Grave's disease and play the sympathy card. After all when trying to get a job all you need to do is make sure those hiring you get a good impression and believe you're likable (not implying you aren't xD). It's all about selling yourself (not your body ;p) oh unless that's the job you're after.

It's viewed as a disability due to the need to regularly go to the hospital and it's an automatic rejection card.
