Dunno about Mikoto in Extra . I think Mikoto is girl. Come on with such eccentric dad it is possible. She may just bevhave like a boy. In Unlimited Mikoto is girl. About "mata ne" thing. Takeru says this in final of Meya route. Not necessary they met but its possible

About Sumika. Nah. This happens way sooner.

id definately say Mikoto is a girl in extra, if i remember in sumika/meiya route on extra theres a bath scene where she trys incedibly hard to cover herself in certain places with a towl....

and yeah although Sumika aint techniquely missing, you get hints all the way through with the morning wake ups to say the least, its not the same character.... well not yet anyway will find out in alternative. Also judging from the flashbacks down the main route in unlimited does takaru end up with the class rep in the extra? (i mean cannon time line wise) becouse he seems to get a few flashbacks of having sex with her down the main route but never gets anything else like that for the others.

Well basicly in extra, Takeru ended up with almost all the girls. It's just like a memory flashback because of something-you-will-find-out from alternative, that's why he always had carefree attitude like whatever after flashbacks. Hint : Parallel world (well it's something everybody should've known from playing unlimited)

Fark... I just finished Meiya's route...

And I must say that... As awesome as I think this game is... Now is not the right time for me to play it.. >_>

PS.. Is it just me? Or are the Videos still unsubbed?

From what I know Alternative is one mind fuck apparently the MC couldn't accept the ending in Unlimited (Alternative V) so when he time slides back 3 years he dedicates himself to (Alternative IV) which gets everyone but 3 valkyries killed, it's a gory game where one of the girls is shown getting her head bit off. Anyway the ending is hardly happy. One of the reasons that I'm afraid to play this series. Sure, they defeat the Beta on earth but it's revealed that the whole space is infested with them.

the end to al's route is pretty close to al's best ending in game
it seems demonbane might have better endings but i can't say
i am still working on extra i hate chizuru's route it is so drawn out
i like tama's the best so far but i still have kei's route to finish in extra

Meh, overall the saga itself is very good. It's like seeing an object with different kind of POVs. You get the happy peace funny endings in extra, an epic heroic end in unlimited, and a mind boggling end in alternative. Well after these 3, there still a game with happy ending with all the characters (including new chara such as errrr should I tell this here, Meiya's twin sister) which is altered fable. Well yeah, all of these could happen because of parallel world, so be happy and enjoy it.

mikoto was raised as a boy in the world of extra for some unexplained reason
but in unlimited she was raised as a girl to keep her out of war as soon as possible
i just wish she would have been winnable in extra

Okay.. Sure... SHE could actully be a SHE instead of a HE. But we dont know that SHE's a SHE in Extra so at least in Takeru's point of view Mikoto has always been a HE in extra, even if HE is a SHE...

And yes im trying to be funny by using tons of SHEs and HEs in the sentence... Now laugh with me... Hahaha! Good~~~

Well.. technically if you get the 'bad' ending in Extra..Well.. yeah... Dont wanna spoil it.. XDDD

but its definately a girl in extra, well at least heavily implied with a few scenes, and il be honest this wouldent be the first VN iv played where the best friend character turns out to actualy be a girl and they fall in love.... im pretty sure while its not a common place route its still seen in a few games

the bath scene is the biggest hint that mikoto is female in extra

i didn't like the endings for unlimited i can;t wait for demonbane and  koihime muso i know they both have good endings
