Looks like you're clicking the wrong buttons looks fine to me tho and even without adblock I downloaded it fine mind you I was only using a popup blocker extension thats it no adblock at all

Once you complete the captcha at the start - there is only one button. That button opens another website that prompts you to download a file. (Setup.exe not the pdf file or rar for the multi-sets of 5 pdfs).

Clicking on the button multiple times finally directs you to the next ad splash page of waiting for the timer to run out - with the tricky multiple download now buttons- and then the control c website.

I'm familiar with these link sites, and being careful with what to click.

But you are correct about needing to be careful with the fake 'download now' buttons. Good call out and good looking out for others.

Almost a year since vol 14. I hope Jnovel wont drop this series. Thanks, Aizen

The author has not updated the WN for half a year since early this year, but uploaded 3 chapters in the last couple of months. IIRC author explained he has been taking care of his elderly parents for the last few years which left him no time. Ultimately he has since moved them to a caring facility and resumed updating the WN and continue working on the LN.
