It's still ongoing.
Volume 8 will end @ch294.
So i guess maybe 2 more months if there's no change in the release pace.

Let's hope the author writes more WN chapters since the LN already caught up with the WN, maybe even already ahead of it.

its fan translation or MTL? I have found one blog where they translated up to chapter 316. so that's why I am asking.

I wish BOFURI's LN would be taken by a translation group (or how should I call them) like JNC, Yen Press etc...
It'd be nice to see them translated considering the Japanese LN is already pretty ahead...

Seven Seas, J-Novel, and Yen Press are names for English publishing companies that work with light novels, manga and other Japanese serializations. Official translations and distribution of light novels in English speaking countries are handled by these companies. I believe Seven Seas Entertainment and Yen Press handle American distribution while J-Novel is for digital English copies elsewhere, but I'm not too sure. I can only access most niche novels online where I am after all.
