I don't know what you're talking about, for the kickstarter thing. No serious project has finished this way, and don't confuse Aroduc's kickstarter with something stupid like this, his kickstarter was legitimate as-in it was to pay for his life while putting away his job to work on translating Romanesque, now despite it being DMCA'd.. he'll still work on it eventually, but it just won't come as quickly as it would have. I'm still surprised it was DMCA'd, though, I mean.. the company is dead, surprised they bothered.

Insem's trolls aren't major trolls, at least. He could do way, way worse to the patches than what he did in the past.

Insem barely has anytime to work on the project anymore, apparently:

The fact remains that there is no time for me to work on her route during the semester. Certainly, I may have time during my summer holidays, but that's also prime time to touch up on one's employability skills through internships, vacation programs and volunteer work.

Nevertheless, if I had any time to work on the game, it would probably be during summer. But that is far from a guarantee. As such, the future of this project will be determined in three stages.

1. Parties interested in the acquisition of the current project or the completion of the remaining route may contact us by 30th September. Should we find a suitable candidate, we will announce the news.

2. If we are unable to secure a future for Dracu Riot with a reputable or reliable candidate by 1st October, the script files for Miu's route will be released to the general public for other interested parties.

3. If, by 1st December there are no active or meaningful attempts at translating Miu's route, I may come out of retirement to work on her route. However, the likelihood of me finding time to work on the game will only decrease year by year. In light of this, if I am unable to give one last attempt at the end of the year, we will stop beating the dead horse, release the remaining routes, and announce the official death of the project.

Yeah, I did say that myself, but I highly doubt only Elina's route has been edited since it seemed like the editing was always close to how quick the translation went. The only other thing I can think of is them sticking to their plans of not releasing anymore partial patches for whatever reasons, but then at first they planned Common Patch and then Full Patch... which they already strayed from, and since they had already released 1/4 of Elina's route by accident (iirc?) and all of it in a contest, I guess they decided to release all of it for the public. Either way, I don't understand why they would keep the rest to themselves, especially when they're on the brink of having to pause the project near-completion without guarantee of it being picked back up. Well, at least December is only 3 months away.

I noticed like most others having trouble getting the Nicola route, and the guide posted doesnt translate very well in the google webpage translator. well i googled other webpage translaters *the irony guys* and found a bing translator

But yeah, I'm pretty sure that other than me there's at least 2, 3 or more people here who can read Japanese, or are in the process of learning, so I'm hoping that'll help them if they're using the English patch for wtvr reason. Either way, if the project doesn't get picked up, at least Insem is supposed to release the rest on December 1st if he can't get back to it. Obviously, in that case, Miu's route will still be left untranslated. So there's that.
