Thirty-two years ago, the world was engulfed by a dark fantasy that overflowed.

Tsukimiya Kaoru, a "Witch Hunter" who hunts the demonic creatures born from the otherworldly "Black Paradise" that threatens humanity's survival, arrives at the cursed island of "Karyūjima" seeking revenge. There, she encounters Fiona, the "White Flower Witch."

Fiona, who runs a café and a "(mostly) anything-goes" odd-jobs business, makes Kaoru an offer:

"I want you to be my bodyguard."

Though bewildered, Kaoru ends up staying with her. The very next morning, a case is brought to the "Nekoyūkan" café.

The first challenge for the "Witch" and the "Witch Hunter" is a series of mysterious disappearances occurring in the colossal, multi-layered structure "Gaikakurō" in Q City.
