[Request] Tenchi Muyo GXP

Just saw the new OVA that dropped. And i came to realise i never read the Novel which is more of a story script for episodes to be released. I found out that someone graciously was translating them up to volume 17 which is the latest (the series is somehow still ongoing).

I know its not the ussual format people ussualy expect a LN in. But i would Love to know what happens in between the end of the anime and start of the OVA. I sadly dont read manga.
