The links don't work at all! Is it possible to just upload the files? I just got a bunch of weird pop ups when I tried.

A. Akfa

All the links work fine for me.. But I really recommend you to read directly on the author's blog for maximum reading experience. The PDF from Aizen did not contain the same font or size, did not include the text color that was truly impactful to the story, and the invisible texts.

Yo traitorAIZEN are you going to update this?

shayan1133

i think vol 8,9,10 is out
any update?

febri87

I check the google & it seem the novel already have until book 14 (hell's warden)
Will you upload it Aizen?

This is a bit convoluted to follow.

The website now has 10 volumes.

They have a handy guide to compare to their ebooks available on amazon.

Amazon has up to book 14. Which according to the authors own comparison chart is in the middle of vol 6 - which Aizen already posted Vol 7 - which should be further along?

Now, the site has up to vol 10, which would likely be ebook ~20 based on how the author has been cutting them into chunks and the last several volumes have a crazy amount of words. The author was cutting them into 13 chapter chunks for each arc but the chapters got longer and longer and that may no longer hold true, so possibly ebook 25.

That's a massive undertaking :O That's a few days of just copying, pasting, formatting, fixing issues and font, fighting weird artifacts from the webpage, clicking next, web browser crashing and having to find your place, repeating the same, getting frustrated, getting bored, eyes bleeding, fingers cramping from holding shift or the mouse button while dragging, having moments where you aren't sure if you just pasted the same chapter in twice, realizing the author/translator skipped a chapter or messed up the chapter numbering - or wondering if you did.

If you've never tried making your own pdf - you should try it once. You'll either hate it or find all the above issues not as bad and the end product worth it (and maybe you realize you're a bit of an M; in which case welcome to the club - the snacks are in the back).

But that said - Aizen, when update? :)

Ouch! I felt that, LOL
i try to pace myself and keep it within 60-90 mins/day.
beyond that, i'll feel burnt out, then i'll start hating myself, and then i'll start hating you all, haha ;D
but it's still fun

btw, won't be updating this novel anytime soon, sorry

Seeing as the previous post from yours said that Vol 7 was over 7500 pages - not 75, not 750, but 10x as much - and there are 3 more volumes since - that's nearly a month of grueling copy pasting and would delay all the other KN and LNs from getting compiled and posted - I can't speak for others, but I can wait for it.

Besides visiting the authors site and giving them some traffic so they know their series is still popular with people shouldn't be too much trouble.

ooh i dont know that editing wn/ln to pdf is really long & tedious job
i really appreciate your hardwork aizen

i also want to edit wn/ln by myself like you aizen, but i dont know how & the right tool to do it

I can't speak to how Aizen makes PDFS - since they likely use a few different programs.

But first, get a word document program. I use windows word because that is what I have access to and have used for ages.

Then find yourself a series you'd want to make into a compiled pdf/epub.

Then copy the text and paste it into the word document.

Some just do a 1 for 1 direct copy of the post. Some do a bit more.

What does more mean?

Sometimes the chapter you are copying from has formatting issues that can cause issues when you paste them into the document. So some read or skim through to make sure that there isn't any weird shifted paragraphs or super tiny font or all the words are running on the same single line.

You can change the font and text size of the chapter names. You can make it look all pretty and professional.

You can add in any pictures that the original author might have used - though this can cause major headaches for formatting - which is why some leave all images in the first few pages or the last few pages - because the style break can be a nightmare to fix and then break again when you go to convert it into a pdf or epub - weird broken sentences and paragraphs as things are shoved around, half pages of blank space, the images somehow become the size of huge wall posters or tiny thumbnails.

And some do a read through and edit the work. This can be a big thing if you are copying something that was machine translated or translated from AI. They don't talk like humans. Either you're going to have 6 different spellings of characters  names, them turning from girls to guys to girls again as other characters talk to them, really weird statements that are doubled - as the AI program offered 2 different takes on the same translation and the person uploading didn't choose one but instead pasted the raw MTL onto their webpage without reading it.

(Since some posting these fan translations are making money just pumping out hundreds of chapters a day and locking those chapters behind the coin walls - they have an incentive to get them out fast. Faster than others doing the same thing. Because readers will move to where they can read the most current chapter and since it is all MTL, there is no translation group fan loyalty anymore.)

After you got the word document all neat and nice looking - you either convert it with a program or by choosing the save as option.

Aizen may also put it through another program that has presets that add in key features - like the page numbers, help with resizing pictures or the last page splash image. I think Calibre and a few other programs can be set up to add that to files when they convert them. I've not really tried, so that's not something I can really offer any real advice on.

Once it is done, you can upload it to one of the threads here. Maybe look at series requests and choose one of those that you'd like to try your hand at. Or if you are reading a series you like and haven't seen it here before - you can just create a new thread and post it.

As for the adlinks and others - no idea. I don't have any experience sharing those,

Best of luck and happy pdf/epub making. (remember the snacks are in the back)

Wow that was really long & complicated process
Make me really appreciate the work aizen & the other (like azura ren) doing

Thank you for the advice 2272
