【 STORY SYNOPSIS 】

Set in the year 2054, thirty years have passed since mysterious "rifts" began appearing on Earth in 2024. These rifts pull in objects (and sometimes people) and then, 20 days later, unleash monsters.

Humanity has fought back with "Hunters," awakened individuals capable of effectively battling monsters. Over time, the world has adapted to these rifts, even creating hunting grounds from them. However, an unprecedented one-meter-tall, black-colored rift—never before recorded—appears in Korea's Taebaek Mountains.

Its power level surpasses even known S-rank rifts. S-rank Hunter and top rift researcher Sung Yumi and her newly assigned assistant Kim Ina investigate, realizing that something (or someone) must have been pulled inside since the rift remains closed. If that person does not survive, once the rift reopens and 20 days elapse, catastrophic monsters may emerge and potentially destroy the country.

Meanwhile, Ji Yeonwoo, a struggling F-rank Hunter, has come to the same mountains to hunt "armored roe deer" for income. After a falling-out with his team, he's forced to camp outdoors, unaware that a deadly new rift looms nearby.
