Mai was my favorite in Kanon, for clannad, it's hard to pick.

One..already forgot abt all the characters XD pretty bland game I thought...
I went into Clannad expecting to like Kotomi the most, I expect I would have if she actually appeared in any routes outside her own.

Nagisa looks is too plain compared to other girls in clannad, but nonetheless her arc and the after story is what made clannad epic, kyou was the first arc that i finished (heh her design and personality is the one that clicked the most for me, yay for tsundere zettai ryouiki girl) and i didnt even touch nagisa's route until i finished all the other girls arc because i'm not really into weak kind looking girl, but when i read the after story, lets just say nagisa's death ruin the hell out of me, and the after effect isnt helping either (tomoya's depression etc) her route was one of the most polished one out of the other too.
Well at least in little buster the main heroine is one of the most interesting girl in both personality and looks, so no complaints from me :D

Who knows. For all we know there might not be a Little Busters anime but hey at least the vn is getting translated. Wish patch works with ecstasy perfectly instead of "play at your own risk". I only have the ecstasy version so bleh.

I can change the topic, just like I did moments ago to update the patch links and the progress of the translation, but I only thought about dividing it since mixing all the ISO's and different patches on a single topic could lead to lots of Bitching & Whining from people who refuse to read the posts.

Great news. Original Little Busters is kinda lackluster.
The translation team seem to have gone back on their word as of a few hours ago.

Besides, all that update says is that they are currently not translating the Ex version, just the normal version. The possibility to translate Ex after the original is finished is unchanged.

Having trouble installing the game..... on 2 of my computers 1> vista using laptop by hp and 2> dell running XP having trouble installing the game it gets 75% of the way and fails, tried downloading the game twice. Also new patch it out.
I haven't tried any of the ISOs yet, so I can't help you with this.

You know, I never was able to get the crack included in this to work properly (the alpharom patch or whatever would start the game, but it wouldn't actually patch it so I had to browse to the .exe every time) but I found another one that was a bit easier, just an alternative REALLIVE.EXE that you can replace it with. They did state on their TLWiki page that they'd do the Ecstasy (18+ version with additional extra scenes) and Memorial Editions, after a well-deserved pause...
Not reading first posts and their associated links leads to those questions all the time. EX is the extended and 18+ version of Little Busters! and is going to be translated after the team's break which followed this release.
I shall await this with barely restrained patience...

And now Filesonic sold out... they were never as good as the rest, but just when we needed them, they bailed.
I would be worried if it was Rapidshare or Mediafire. Megaupload was bad enough, we don't need another one like that going down.

My ISP used not to have that kind of limit as well.. but they decided to change that 4 years ago, but the limit is huge (180 GBs) so I don't really complain.. but because of that I gotta be careful since I usually download a lots of stuff, doesn't help that it's combined with uploading as well.. problem is that when you go over the limit the price is just ridiculous.. I would've changed ISP, but being dumb I've got a 5 years contract with them that I can't burn, one more to go.

My ISP pulls out limits from it's own ass. There was this month that I must have downloaded some 500GB and they got mad that I passed "their limit", which I asked what it was. Two years after that, I'm still waiting for their answer.
Vodafone is the only ISP,over here, that declares the limit to their "unlimited downloads", which is 400GB. No other ISP has it on their contracts, their sites or anywhere else.

My ISP used not to have that kind of limit as well.. but they decided to change that 4 years ago, but the limit is huge (180 GBs) so I don't really complain.. but because of that I gotta be careful since I usually download a lots of stuff, doesn't help that it's combined with uploading as well.. problem is that when you go over the limit the price is just ridiculous.. I would've changed ISP, but being dumb I've got a 5 years contract with them that I can't burn, one more to go.
And nope, not from Greenland, but I'm right next to it. :P

One month last Fall I had over 3TB in utorrent stats alone. Mind you I have adsl... Guess the Nordic countries are great place to be for an internet addict ;D

It's depressing that I could barely afford it last month and it's one of the cheapest here.
I can, I still have limit 1 GB free for my monthly bandwidth and my bad, I've been busy so I couldn't visit much.

It's DAMN time.
I still haven't finished this game yet... After loving Kud... I sort of lost interest in the rest of the heroines... I need some encouragement to finish so I hope the anime is good.
You should definitely finish it, even if just to see Refrain. (Honestly, Kud was the sole reason of why I had even started that VN <<...) Also, the Muscle Sensation Mini-Route, did you do it before doin' Kud's?
Ya, I did most of the miniroutes, I even did mask the saito through a lot of save and load... I'm halfway through Nishino. But after Kud, I just lost interest. Nishino's background music is also a bit depressing and slow paced, so I guess that sort of turned me off. Rin is my second favourite character but it wasn't enough motivation. For some reason Rin's sprite reminds me of another character... even the poses... minus the cat, can't remember who though... name started with a 'T' I think...
Nishizono's route was probably my least favorite route. As for Rin.. you're right.. always gave me that familiar feel, too, but I can't tell from who..

I am late (since 1st JUL), and this is both a necro-post & a double-post, but - for those interested - there is an "EXperimental EXtra patch" up on the TLWiki Section (http://tlwiki.org/index.php?title=Little_Busters!) that adds a better word wrap and new voices imported from the PSP Edition, and there is quite a number of them.
This patch requires Little Busters! Patch 6.0 installed. In-game saves will stop working, as usual.Patch adds:
- Word wrap throughout the game, including minigames
- "Full voice", in other words c. 1500 extra voice clips from the PSP port of the game (special thanks to Uppfinnarn). Gives voices to all the misc characters.
Installation instructions:
- Make sure you have Little Busters! translation patch 6.0 installed.
- Download patch here (http://www.mediafire.com/?9itj3pdvipdfsn8).
- Backup your GAMEEXE.INI and SEEN.TXT (just to play safe)
- Extract .rar to Little Busters! game folder and overwrite the files you are asked to.
If the patch is found to be working well, EX/ME versions will likely follow in due time.

Do you know anything about the progress on EX/ME editions? I havent seen anything new since the release of last patch
Last I knew, things were progressing smoothly. dango (Sasami's Route) was @ 67~% last time I checked, I don't know how Claymore and Silent are doing on their side though.
I suggest lurking on the staff's twitter (https://twitter.com/#!/applehq/fluffy) for bits of information, though, lately really not much info. on progress as been said for some reason.
The VNTLS Page (http://vntls.tindabox.net/project/little-busters) could work weekly too.
You could also just ask them straight out on their IRC (#fluffy @ irc.synirc.net).
I wish they would put up actual progress for EX/ME on the TLWiki page at least.
Note : The "67%" date from June 27th, so odds are this is inaccurate.. 2 months is a lots of time to progress.
