>Kaichou wa Maid-sama
>Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Maou
>Romance of the Three Kingdoms
>Working!
>Mayoi Neko Overun
>Arakawa under the Bridge
Give me your opinion on whether or not I should get these, what kind of quality, which are keepers, which should wait. etc.
Mayoi was nice, but it's not current, Ikkitousen is getting worse and worse in my opinion, Ichiban is good, kinda rushed because of the lack of episodes, Koihime is starting to have a story line, I'm embarassed to watch it but I like it. Kaichou wa Maid-sama is targeted at girls, I watch it and it's not finshed yet.
Looking for a batch for Working!
didn't watch the others on your list.
It's summer season now all those on your list are like spring season. not exactly current.
Current enough for me. Following anime seasonally is too nomadic for me. I like wait for anime to finish before I watch it. Besides, you guys can discuss current anime.
Well, I tend to wait till mid season when everything is calmed down and marathon things, and then I'm messed up for the next few days both emotionally and physically.
Ichiban, well, I was dissapointed. Too much too fast. It just made me angry. It could have been good if they took time to develop a bit. Make me care about the characters. Wasted potential, in my opinion
Arakawa is one of my favorite animes at the moment. Silly, crazy and sweet at the same time.
Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin watched only one episode, but it made me want more

Oh you.
Working is definitly worth taking a look at. Quite a lot of likeable/ interesting characters and good humor.
Oh God Oh God, I'm getting drawn into downloading Ookami-san.
T_T OH GOD DO I DO IT? FFFFFFFFF- THIS CONFUSING AND ENRAGING.
-----
Getting 480p Working! files and 50mb .mkv Maou files.
filling in holes in older anime's. I hate missing episodes.
Which one's Koihime?
now also with 480p Mayoi, and Arakawa Under the Bridge. <I loved Maki's voice from Soul Eater.
I've not followed what has been released during the last year or so, since I've been watching older stuff and my tendency to marathon an entire show doesn't help. I got sick of anxiously waiting a week for the next episode when I was a kid (6yo) with Saint Seiya and Captain Tsubasa.
I just marathoned working!! and caught up to the other shows that I wanted to watch, I usually avoid marathoning too much shows over a short period of time because that screws up my living habits and my mood for too long.
So how's Working!?
XDD
I myself had not watched it.. And I love marathoning, as long as the series is completed.. its better than an ongoing series that you had to wait ANOTHER WEEK for the ending and it turns out that SHE STILL DIEEEDD! >_>
..
....
Sorry.. Fate Stay Night trauma... long story...
I usually avoid marathoning too much shows over a short period of time because that screws up my living habits and my mood for too long.
I also need a cool down time, after a show or two.

Indeedy do. Although I just watched Ookami-Shichinin-Nakamatachi. So good. Oh god, so good.
Hey guys.. Since its a general anime discussion topic... Maybe you guys could recommend me some animes?
I need an anime that haves these genres...
Harem... Romance... Comedy... Ecchi...
Huuhuuuhuuuu~
Somewhere along those lines should be cool...
Well.. They could be that or just so farking freaking awesome that its awesome to be awesomely freaking cool... kinda anime...
Must be completed... So I no longer need to wait for a 'next episode'.
Seitokai no Ichizon if you haven't seen it... I loved it, it's short though.
Since a while I only marathon shows, got too tired of waiting for next eps. Lately I even tend to wait for the full show to be in BD before I watch it, sigh I'm so behind with the current anime seasons T_T
But the difference between an aired episode and the BD version is just so huge in some cases, and I cba to watch an okay show twice >_<
Yesh.
One thing about watching 'non-current' animes would be the release of an Uncensored version... Like.. Princess Lover! And Princess Blade! Ikkitousen! etc...
..

...
Dont judge people you dont know in real life... >_>
look in the mirror before you do.
/smoke
Edit:
@Kureha. yeah thanks... I'm downloading it right now.. Dont really know wtf its about.. but whatever.. XDDDD
I'm not fussed about censoring or not. I mean I play Lilith games and get off on every sex scene they have. I'm guessing it's not about the censoring for me.
Anyway, School Rumble. Funniest manga ever.
Funny manga, with a terrible end. Hope you didn't finish it yet and are looking forward to it now!
Hey! That was one of my favourite endings. ERI FOR LIFE.
School rumble spoiler:
Spoiler
Meh he isnt even properly together with eri. Just in name while still wanting to bang tenma ( which I hate tbh >_> ). Wish he would properly get together with Yakumo or Eri T_T
On that note, H-games > harem anime/ mangas! Nothing beats you being able to pick for whom you're going for.
School Rumble was one of the rare instances where I dropped both manga and anime. It just felt so stupid, some of the characters...
It was a story of unrequited love. IN ALL INSTANCES. I've never experienced there ever before or after. I loved the characters, especially because they stayed true to the story and themselves. I think my love for School Rumble is similar if not the same as my love for Suzuka. There's that element of reality in it.
or something.
On that note, H-games > harem anime/ mangas! Nothing beats you being able to pick for whom you're going for.
OH WOW... sometimes i amaze even myself in my own abilities!
I MANAGED TO DIVERT MY EYES FROM A SPOILER WHILE ITS VISIBLE IN "NEW POST" DUE TO QUOTES!
Woot!...
..
..Anyway.. yes..
QFT.
Except you know anime like Amagami SS where they animate all the girl's routes.
Meh, spoilers. It's the journey, not the end.
Except you know anime like Amagami SS where they animate all the girl's routes.
I wish other harem animes will do things like this
I mean if you don't want to end it in a harem end, then do it like that(or like the Kimikiss -Various Heroines- manga)
so people won't rage or be disappointed

agreed, more harem type manga/anime should take this approach
But sometimes.. When they DONT take that approach...
It causes people to WANT to play the game so they could experience the ending...
...
......
guess you could call the anime a "You want to see her route? Go buy the frikkin game"... kinda gimmik.
>Chaos; Head: WHY WEREN'T THERE ANY ROUTES? RAGE!
Working! is a great anime. Absolutely.
Anyone recommend anything from the current season? I think Fate/Zero is something we'll all watch/are watching.
Others?
I'm never following the current season. Always waiting till the last episode aired for normal eps and the blue ray for all ecchi stuff. Only thing I snapped up is that Ben-to seems to be surprisingly good.
This time, most of the animes I am interested in are already in manga and much farther already if not completed. (e.g. Mirai Nikki & Beelzebub)
Might watch 'em some day to see how much it was well-done though and/or if different ending.
There is only Working!!, Shakugan no Shana III and Majikoi that I am watching this season.
Oh, there is also C³ which I was reading the novel in japanese so maybe the anime can clarify this whole cluster of wonderful non-sense. @_@
What about last season then? I also wanted to watch about Kurogane no Linebarrel.
I've barely been watching any anime this year due to interest going toward different stuff so, I actually don't remember watching any anime last summer, hell, I don't think I'm even sure what came out at that time.. I will have to looks.
Now, I am not that knowledgeable in Anime and I didn't watch all the episodes possible yet, my opinion might be kinda shallow and that I am really easily pleased have to be noted.
Mashiro-Iro Symphony, I hadn't played the VN yet and never heard of it before, but when I watched the first episode. I liked it and proceeded to directly hunt the VN down, I tends to do that whenever I know it's available in that form, hopefully translated. Anyway, sadly not translated and I havn't watched the other episodes (There is 8 as of now, I think?) yet but it seemed like your typical high-school possible harem anime with Tsundere & Imouto included. I have a lots of catching up to do though, might change with other episodes.
Ika Musume, I still.. have to finish the first season actually, but I remember loving it so I'm pretty sure the second season will lives to my expectations. I'm pretty sure I don't need to explains it honestly.
Persona 4, now, this is obviously one I have to watch because I wasted over 300 hours playing Persona games. Any proper fan will want to watch it and I am liking it, only con is the seiyus, might be just me, but most of them feels wrong.
Maken-Ki !, I have read the manga and I am liking it so I'll expects the anime to be just as good. Your typical girls-protective protagonist enrolls into an elite school and hilarity & fight ensues.
C³, Okay, I STILL havn't watched it and my mind is still screwed up thanks to the light novel, but from what I read the second episode make it all worthwhile, have to checks it out.
Majikoi, now, the VN is one of my favorites and just to be able to see Yamato in a shining light make the anime all worth to watches for me. Even so, without being a Fan, I am pretty sure anyone could enjoys it. Still wants to play Majikoi ! S though, just hoping for no big spoiler.
Mirai Nikki, hard to say, I read the manga months ago and it is completed (from what I remember anyway?). I loved it, yet hated it for various reasons. Pretty good plot, though the twists were somewhat easily to read through sometimes. And if you like yanderes, you will be pleased. Well, if they stick to the manga it should be pretty damn good.
Erm, there is a few more but.. getting long, no ?
I really have to a lots of grounds to cover up though I am a really bad reviewer and I have many, many animes to catches up to.
Also, if you want a nice mind screw you can watch Steins;Gate, the first 9 episodes are meh but past that, it really begins.
Adaption of the True Ending of the VN, which is pretty much epicly awesome.
I am planning to watch (those above included) Chihayafuru, Fate/Zero, Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, Guilty Crown and more.
I doubt being done before next year though, unless I go full-anime mode everydays.
/looks at wall of text.
Err.. woops.. Well, hopes that kinda helped anyway, lol;;
TL;DR
My review skills are horrible, but the animes I named might be interesting enough.
From the Winter -12 (http://www.vn-meido.com/k1/index.php/topic,1151.0.html) listing posted,..;
Will follow ZnT F, watched all previous seasons.
-Another series from last season coming to an end is Shana of course^^ (following)
Nisemonogatari
-Definitely. Was a bit late to the prequel (watched Bake last Fall). But considering the BD inprovements, I'm glad I waited for the rips...
Mouretsu Pirates
-Seems interesting. A touch of fresh air, it's needed...
Ano Natsu de Matteru
Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai!
High School DxD
-pretty sure about the first two. Ecchi. Nice. Me like. Aand talk about expy for the first one ^-^; (Onegai Teacher < liked it a lot). Not too sure about the last HSdxd after first episode, will see...
Another
-Might be interesting. Not been really much into mystery, about the only recent title of that kind I've liked was Daughter of Twenty Faces. But will check out...
The shorts Recorder to Randoseru and Kill Me Baby, might check out too if time allows.
I'm personally not going to watch fate zero I found the characters to be meh.
Rurouni Kenshin might be cool if it's more in the style of Tsuiokuhen and less the abomination that was Seisouhen.
Gundam SEED "HD" will most likely be another Dragon Ball Kai.
There is nothing that I want to watch on that list, from my first impression.
And what's Hamburger Helper's work doing over there?
I'll watch nisemonogatari, and a few others, not as much as I usually watch per season but still got some nice things going.
It's been a while everyone. What's everyone been watching?
hmmmm....mine currently aldnoah zero, zankyou no terror, gekkan shoujo nozaki kun, hanayamata and some anime shorts like gundam-san and himegoto..
I like Aldnoah Zero. I'm still following Mahouka. I've got a few others downloaded but lacking the motivation.
For this season, I've yet to watch at least the first episode of everything, but from what I did watch; Aldnoah.Zero, Akame ga Kill, and P4Golden (because why not) are what I'm watching. Maybe Rokujouma, too.
Otherwise, I plan to start on Love Live! and a few others... someday. Also finally gonna watch Akira and Ghost In The Shell (so goddamn much to see for this one).
Eroge's kinda taking all my free time, though.
What are you playing?
Putting aside the 2x stalled eroges I have...
Right now I'm finishing up 時計仕掛けのレイライン―残影の夜が明ける時― (http://vndb.org/v11093) which I've gotta wonder why it wasn't just a single full-game combined with its prequel for a few reasons. Money maybe?
I'm thinking of starting AQUA (http://vndb.org/v5502) after I finish the above, I actually know yada about it, so hopefully it's at least enjoyable. Or maybe Hello,good-bye (http://vndb.org/v5316) as a friend suggested it to me. Not really recommended it rather than just point it out without any explanation, though.
Then there's 木洩れ陽のノスタルジーカ (http://vndb.org/v10958) which I am more slowly going through due to all the technical terms, so far it's pretty good, though, even if I haven't even made it pass a single route yet.
I'm also playing through Fate/Extra CCC (http://vndb.org/v12369), so far it's vastly superior to its prequel, but just doesn't hold anything close to being comparable to the actual Fate stuff, but it does have Tamamo and Nero, although at this rate I might as well consider it stalled for a lil' bit... since I haven't touch it in almost a month now.
Speaking of which, if you guys got any recommendations, I'll happily take them. Obviously, nukige is no-no, and anything with heavy-fetishing (or at least with a focus on it), same goes for boy love ones—I tried, I couldn't take it (huehue). Other than that, I'm basically game for anything.
Btw, you can access my VNDB list and all from here (http://vndb.org/u18821), if for some reason you wanna be stalker-ish.
EDIT: Just saw one of my posts from 3 years ago, and it felt pretty cringe-worthy to me...
Oh dear. I didn't realise it had been so long.
Life sure is flying past.
Yup
