It's unfortunately the society we live in. Some AI scraper bot sees your name, or something similar to it (usually usernames that someone can easily have a similar one of or the exact) and boom you are banned.
Be it if you did share or not. Having any outside of the company dealings is none of their business but they basically spy on you and ban you.
