I wish author end Shield Hero novel first before starting this, or at least release a new volume. I've taken a peek and see similarities to towns, characters, and monster names. I wonder if this is a prequel to Kizuna the hunting hero we see in Shield Hero LN or author just reuse the names?
From the looks of it, it's just a "Different Universes but with many similarities" scenario with Rising of the Shield Hero.
I just have to point out as well, the Gender Bender in this story didn't really play into the story much unlike OSO. Kinda wish the author just went for a fishing loving shota rather than a loli since it really wouldn't change much of anything...
Agreed with you there. And I kinda don't like the fact that Kizuna in Shield Hero in fact truly IS a gender bender. Kizuna x Glass in Shield Hero should be a yuri couple
