probably because of chapter numbering. If you include Prologue (chapter 0), then there would be 194 chapters.

You are indeed correct, forgot to count the prologue. Series just ends in a strange way is all. Feels like its missing a chapter is all.

Just checked the official page of the novel and there is the prologue (which is treated as chapter 0) and chapter 194, so it is indeed missing the last chapter.
