As u might expect freeware fan produced works can't compete with commercial products in terms of quality (although the graphics in this aren't bad).  However if u are interested in possible sequel type stories to Kana Little Sister they make for entertaining reading/watching.

Besides, it's western. I mean come on, I read this stuff because it's Japanese, and it's got Japanese flavourings. I can't see Americans writing stuff with any amount of cultural flavouring. I mean I might be trying for a VN, doesn't mean I have to like every other faggot that does.

If it's good, I might try it though. Just needs proof you know.

Well I'm not defending it since I haven't played it, I'm just saying doujin vs fanfic is pretty much just semantics and I'm pretty sure fan fiction has a 90% chance of sucking balls regardless of country of origin. Okay I didn't say that second part before but you get the picture.
