I enjoyed this one more than I expected. There were some rough patches, but its got a reasonable mix of action/humor and sci-fi/cultivation, that for the most part no one part outstays its welcome. Also the translation seems to be progressing quickly atm so there will be more to read in a month or two.
I must say that this book is very interesting. I enjoy reading it. Reminds me of "Hail the King" only with the larger sc-fi option.
the action takes place in two worlds. which makes you still wonder what will happen next

Binge read this. Not a big fan of cultivation stories but this just blew my mind.
From the covers I thought there was just gonna be 2 worlds (cultivation & modern earth) and our MC will freely transfer between the two then combine cultivation and mech. It was just that then it's kinda meh.
Then the scale of the story grew in an instant. It's not only this two planets, it's f*cking whole UNIVERSE! But wait, there's more, it's multiverse (parallel worlds), multi-times? (past, present, future), multi-realms (heavens, hells, etc)! Unlike other of the same genre, the story doesn't just take place in this ancient china country. With this immense scale, cultivation really works out. The power leveling makes sense.
Also unlike other cultivation stories, there's really no BS explanations and reasons. And not much chinese culture (face slapping and those 'i'll be impolite'). This is closer to a korean story with chinese cultivation.
It's a non-stop rollercoaster of chain quests and epic battles! And we're only still halfway through the story! ;D ;D
Okay, okay. Although I'm not a fan of Xuanhuan and Xianxian, you convinced me to read this novel. ;D
