Ukei Kaito, the protagonist who desperately saved the world after being summoned in another world as a hero to defeat the Demon Lord.

Though he did defeat the demon lord and saved the world, but he was betrayed by the people he trusted as friends and is stabbed to death by a sword.

At that time, he swore.

If there is a next time, he would no longer cling to the word called 'believe'.

If there is a next time, he would pay them back as cruelly as possible.

If there is a next time, he wouldn't make another mistake.

「I... All of you... I will absolutely kill you all......」

After leaving his last words, he died.

And then a voice resounded.

Ukei Kaito fought a desperate struggle in order to fulfill his role as a summoned hero.

The companions that he'd trusted throughout his journey betrayed him and killed him by sticking a blade through his chest.

It was then that he swore to himself.

He swore that, if given another chance, he would no longer so rigidly cling to the concept of "faith."

He swore that, if given another chance, he would dedicate himself to enacting the most atrocious act of revenge possible.

He swore that, if given another chance, he would do things right.

「I'll kill every single last one of you... I swear it...」

And so, he died, leaving behind not but a series of menacing last words — but his story had yet to end.
A voice resounded through his head and informed him that there was more to his fate than what lay beyond the grave.

Nope. It's just the new translator group changed the chapter numbering but it's still the continuation of volume 2. You didn't miss anything

Thx Aizen, well the translation really picked up on this one out of nowehere, still .... idk what to feel the first chapters give off a different feeling then the rest of the series, a serious case of "author had a good idea and played it well at the very beginning but chickened out and made MC-kun regular cuck" syndrome.

I really liked this novel but there are some parts that makes me confused as if I'm reading a novel but the character is saying something that has never been mentioned before.
[spoiler]Are the protagonist being a Pureblood Vampire and he destroying the Fairy village facts that ever happened on his second run? If so I guess I must've skipped it[/spoiler]

I followed the WN toc when splitting this into volumes.
WN vol.1 (LN vol.1)
WN vol.2-2.5 (LN vol.2-3)
WN vol.3 (LN vol.4)
WN vol.4 (LN vol.5)
WN vol.5 (LN vol.6)
WN vol.6 (LN vol.7)
The raw stopped at the early chapters of WN vol.6, but the translators continued it with LN vol.7 contents.
And now the translation is still midway the volume.
