Honestly, for how long the series been running the novel is a good/fun one imo, though it lacks ( for the time its been out for ) all the bells and wistles im used to from other series. [spoiler]Its basically like whatching the anime in book form on point.There arent many special one off world building stories its just ichika and his gang of anime waifu's and its about that and that alone in essense.[/spoiler] But then again ive been reading 95% isekai novel's might be due to that.
