The 6 volumes were great and it sort of took over some daily activities. Just couldn't stop reading it, until it ended :(

"Web Novel" is the digitally published version of the series/novel which has been uploaded independently online by its author on websites like:

While "Light Novel" is the physically published version of the series/novel when an author forms a contract with a publishing company like MF Bunko, Overlap, etc. where the authors work with editors assigned to them to better their works.

Also, not all web novels have a light novel version which also applies vice versa as there are also light novels which doesn't have a web novel version.

Well, I haven't read the light novel version of world teacher yet so i can't really say much on whether the light novel version is different from the web novel version, though based on my experience in reading the web novel version and light novel version of other titles(e.g. Death March and Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari), there may be some minor or maybe even major differences between both version of a single novel.

Is there someone making the light novel version of this web novel?

is the "(Recheck)" in vol 18 something you put in or is it something the translator put in?

it's the translator. i think it's there as a mark for when the chapter gets rechecked by an editor.
Early on his translations, the translator had to first send his translation to an editor befor posting it.
Then because of popular demand, he began posting the 'self-edited' version first, which was replaced by a 'cleaned' one a little later on.
But at some point the editing part of the process stopped, maybe there was no editor or tl's translation skill has improved. The last 'cleaned' chapter is ch113 which was posted this january, everything beyond that is marked as 'self-efited'.
Now that's why maybe those '(recheck)' are for an editor or the tl rechecks it himself later. This is just a guess btw.

Its not bad. The MC still seem a bit way too overpowered, but he's aware of his harem. Make for a good nice read, but don't expect anything deep from it.

Vol.15's main and mirror links work fine for me.
You can try redownloading the file again. There was a similar report in the past and redownloading fixed it.

Simplified Author Note:
-The author mentions that he was depressed because of RL.
-He had to rewrite this chapter many times because he didn't feel satisfied with the result.
