I think that's all, the archive is largely unaltered and I'd recommend removing the setup exe and just copying the files where you want it and start the exe directly. (Same with Moero 2) then remove the EXE file and use the one supplied in the above archive.

EDIT: All links appear to be working but let me know if anything happens, download mirrors would be useful as I use a ADSL2+ connection and thus have limited upload speed, it's a bit messy but everything should work and just needs to be extracted, larger but fewer files were used as it simplifies things a bit for me, applocale might be useful for text readability but is probably not needed.

Well, I can't say it is the game I was waiting for, but I'll take a look for sure.

It depends on what you disliked from the first game, spawn frequencies are far lower but the actual enemies are much more difficult and you are rather weak initially, slowly moving trough the first (Of several this time.) themed dungeons and am soon at level 8, can handle most of the enemies now aside from killer bee's who does a lot of damage. (Managed to get better armor though so that's negated now.) and have a lot of HP (Still need a decent weapon, focused on armor to improve defense instead.) and there's these thief type enemies that attack a set number of times and have a random chance to steal a sum of gold and then flee.

Map is now available and the dungeon fills out with the sections you've explored, you still need to search everywhere though for hidden items and clues on how to counter the bosses although losing will show a different CG set which is good to know (As with the first game.).

Fairly linear and not that many actual choices plus you need to do most of them anyhow to move on, there's a town now as well with a steady supply of gear and other useful items and information and a small set of characters in it.
(Only the major sections are voiced and the voice is pretty low quality though it works.)

Can't do a torrent (Although if possible it would be helpful to have available.) however due to the low upload speed I have it would just stall, nearly three parts of Moero 2 is up as well leaving six more at roughly 40 minutes per upload.

You should at least give us an idea of what O/S specs you're running on.

You should also make sure that if you downloaded via torrent that your BT client is not trying to access the files.

Did you download it from the torrent or the mirrors? I'm pretty sure that the torrent is fine.
If you downloaded it using the torrent you need to make sure that your client isn't trying to access the game. Try copying the folder somewhere with a shorter file path?

If you downloaded it from the mirrors, you'll probably need to download the crack.

I just dropped in to say, I had the same problem as LilVamp (Windows Vista 32-bit, downloaded via torrent) and I told my client to pause on seeding, and there was no more trouble. So just pause when you want to play, and then start seeding again when you stop- you could just stop seeding altogether, but that would be uncool. Share the love!

Found the Japanese version, since it's about 1.2 GB it'll be interesting to see what differs, this might (Though that's just a guess.) solve the problem with the horribly compressed and low quality audio.

EDIT: Ah so it's full of extras plus the audio tracks are on the disc as well (Higher quality compared to the BMG archive perhaps.) but the voice file is still about 80 MB or so all in all and thus not very high quality though only the main sections of the game are voiced.

It seems as though Im the only one getting this problem, everything works fine till I actually start the game and it asks for a activation Key, I looked at the pdf guide and it says the key is at the bottom but it seems as though the bottom part is cut off.

This title was uploaded before I found out about the exe files being packed into the activation exe files so you need the download from that second link to get that file and bypass the activation, manual looks like that so that's not a issue, it's just using a template whereas for retail copies and a real manual the key would be printed at the back of it. :)

As for guides and monster tactics the easiest method is to carefully explore each floor and every room until the map is fully revealed, you also need to level up roughly five levels per floor (Max level is 35 so it might not be accurate for lower floors / later dungeons.) you'll notice that for instance at levels below six the first dungeon will be challenging but doable though the cellar level will be quite a challenge whereas once past this the monsters will do very little damage and you will do a lot of damage towards them, later floors also add more traps and hidden areas to reveal plus better rewards of course though they remain more or less the same size.
(Also for certain bosses as with the first game a specific item is needed, sometimes it's equipped automatically and sometimes it needs to be equipped before the conversation/fight starts as a general tip saving in front of each door is advisable, also if you do only one or two damage to a boss it might be time to rely on healing potions and charge the lighting/thunder power meter halfway or so which will usually defeat tougher bosses in one or two hits, this is nearly required at the end boss of the first dungeon.)

First off, thank you so much for uploading this game.

Now the game works perfectly and everything, but I can not find a way to make it full screen. I know in the first game there were two different exes, one for full screen and the other for windowed.

Is it the same thing here, and if so, would it be possible to get the other exe. Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

First of all thanks for the game, been waiting for ages for a release.
Started yesterday and just beat it with 99% clearing (had all cgs but missed a minor scene).
Since it was my 1st play-through i don't know exactly how to get the missed scene, even though i know what it is.
But moving to general advices:
-Every floor can be 100% explored. If there are blank spaces look out for fake walls (i forgot that since i played raidy 1 a long time ago and had to redo everything)
-Explore as much as you can before facing the boss of the floor. Around 90-95% of the floor can be explored and hidden items can be found that way. Also talk to some characters along the way is sometimes necessary.
-Power Level in early levels. The 1st dungeon is the hardest since you start lvl1. A bit of patience leveling can earn enough money to just bypass to the best equipments and make the game easier. Just don't level too much either, will make it harder to see the loosing scenes. Either way lvl 35 should be achieved before the ending of the 2nd dungeon.
-Don't forget the town scenes and use the items you found. Be especially careful at beginning of the 2nd dungeon floor 5. If you haven't used everything you found, go to town asap.
-Regarding boss items it's common sense what you need. If you explored and talked to everyone you should have all the items items you need. Normally they need to be equipped.
-Last dungeon is rather small so rush it till last boss, and go to town if you missed any scenes there.
-There's one non boss monster that also provides a cg so look out for it.

I think its all that i could remember to say without ruining the game for everyone still trying to beat it.

Completed it, last dungeon and it's floors where quite a grind (Though it's sort of expected as it rises in difficulty the further you get.) partially due to the layout if trying to explore everywhere (Some nice items to be found though.) and the monsters took a lot of damage plus that curse and bless spell effects at 60 - 80 damage, as with the first game good equipment and high level helps but you'll need a lot of potions to keep going.

Missed one CG or so it seems but there's no placeholder info just a blank square at the bottom right corner of page 4 and also four scenes but as it's just one (supposedly.) CG it's probably just variations of existing scenes.
(Some actions repeat but vary a bit depending a few things.)

Wonder if they'll manage to get the third game licensed and brought over, it's apparently frozen for now but other titles are in the works although I haven't heard much from Mangagamer lately aside from the Higurashi monthly releases.
(Koihime and some other game was planned but delayed and for Jast I think Demonbane might be next followed by Moero Blaze with it's 3D driving enhancements.)

That CG is from a hidden item
[spoiler]One of the magical disks, the 4th one if i'm not mistaken. It's found on the last dungeon so you probably missed it by not going back to the inn before facing the boss. About the scenes it could be either from the raidy 1 bosses, talk to them again and the scene will be a bit different, or the masturbating scenes with the sword, at the inn and in the dungeon.[/spoiler]

The 1st disk my best guess is the 1st dungeon. I rushed looking for it since it was the last disk i got (skipped most dialogs so don't know exact location).
Its a small dungeon so it wont take much time to redo it anyway.

On both i got the same error message on the same position, an anybody help?
The Error message is "Command execution error. Errorcode 010E000"
And in happens always quite after the start.
Wen you go to the inn, took a bath than the thief attacks, after you can chat with the Setia, the girl from the inn.
Than it crashes.
I use WinXP SP2 as OS

Only advice I can give you is make sure your system is up to date, sound, graphix drivers, directX updates. etc. I haven't used XP since Vista's release...

Is this as bad in terms of grind as the first one? Because first one looked worse then most games from early 90s in the same genre, and playability was horrible.

I seem to be getting this odd error in that I cannot click the "Extra" menu on the beginning menu (where you see all the unlocked scenes). I am to the 2nd floor in the 2nd dungeon, so I should be able to see at least some scenes.

Do you have to beat the game to unlock this option or is it a bug? And if its a bug, anyone know how to rectify it?

I have this issue too,but here is my theory : the extra are contained on the CD.

You have to clear the game in order to access the extras.    This is the case with many such games.

Exactly.This is not showing up when I play.However,backgrounds appear for scenes and boss battles.

I got it through the MU links on the first post, extracted the second "Lightning Warrior Raidy II" folder, and then, placed the crack inside that same folder. Everything worked fine with just that.

So, are you missing updated drivers or did you get it through other links, like the MF ones?

Google your graphics card. Along with the word "driver" and "download"

My motherboard's PCI-e slot fried some weeks ago (the board is new, so I just have to take it to the store). I'm using that Intel onboard crap, and the game works just fine. If it's a problem with the graphics card, it can only be drivers.

It's a SiS Mirage 3;more exactly a SiS672.

"DirectX 8.1, Shader 1.3", this could be the problem. Raidy's requirements (both through JAST and ZyX's sites) don't specify the required shader, but the lack of the required shaders leads to black or distorted pictures. You can confirm it if you also have problems on other 3D games.

Well,so far I've only tried one 3d game on it,and it was Sonic Adventure DX.However,I dunno what happened,it started to lag horribly and got me a BSOD.The graphics were fine though.


On another note,where can I update the shaders ? Better safe than sorry as they say.(I have DirectX 11 BTW)

I could've explained it better. That's what the SiS672 supports. It only makes use of DirectX's functions until 8.1, all the newer ones from 9 to 11 aren't used, even though they are installed, and the shaders can't be upgraded, since they are part of the graphics card itself.

SIS 672? wow, that's like AGP, you could I think slap in a 9500GT from newegg or something and be able to play VNs.
