Thank you for this, just quick question, You've put up Bakuen as Optional but recommended, is it recommended bec. it'll affect the main story, like it'll be mentioned and so on? or you've just recommended it for it's entertainment purpose?

The 3 Bakuen vols are a prequel to the main story. It does affect the main story a little with regards to Chomusuke especially if you read vol 9. Other than that it shows Megumin and Yunyun's backstory as it takes place starting from when they were still in school up to the day Megumin meets Kazuma and Aqua. The 2 vols of Continued Bakuen takes place during the main story but by that point certain characters will already be introduced so it requires you to read the main story up to a certain point so you dont get confused. The format applies to the other side stories too especially Dust's as the recent events of his side story have caught up to the main story's events.

So its finally over. Its such a cathartic feeling to see it end and the ending is pretty much the same as the WN. Its fitting for this kind of story IMO as this series has always been about destroying expectations and trolling though there will obviously be people who wont like it as they wanted a proper conclusion with Megumin and thats understandable.
