how is this hard... lol then again ive played through advanced wars, final fantasy tactics, etc.
imo the hardest game was Pretty Soldier Wars A.D. 2048 now that was really hard...

You call that hard? Back in my time, we used to play X-Com 1 & 2 without save scumming and without losing any troops.

I got up to mission 13. But now that I have this I think I'll just go through it. Spend my time on Daibanchou better methinks.

reinstall the game maybe?
i never get that kind of error myself, sorry if that's not helping

for whoever that want to play this a little easier without the instant win debug room
why don't try cheat engine?
cheat the money and go crazy XD
works on almost every game i played up till now

is the error show up in the middle of the stage?
just skip that stage using debug then save and play normally

if the error show up at another stage... well... pity you XD

the first error shows after my first move, but on the next battle the error shows at the start of the battle..T_T
