I am a newbie to video games. I downloaded Dutch Roll City H&ストック] Datch Roll City ダッチロールシティ from DMM.co.jp. I opened the zip file (同人ソフト) [H&ストック] [130411] Datch Roll City ダッチロールシティ RJ112733.zip I installed RPG Tkool XP RTP( RTP vx_rtp202.zip. When I go to play the game(game.exe) it opens but won't play? Does anyone have information that they could give me.
Do you know how to set your PC to japanese unicode?
Try that. and make sure you have the proper RTPs installed.

1. I changed language for non-unicode programs to Japanese and restarted computer.
2. downloaded:

vx_rtp202.zip
vx_rtp103.zip
The program that referred to Dutch Roll City vx_rtp103.zip
I opened each of the zip files as administrator.
3. In the same file I opened :
[!]Datch Roll City.zip
[H&ストック] Datch Roll City ダッチロールシティ.zip
(同人ソフト) [H&ストック] [130411] Datch Roll City ダッチロールシティ RJ112733.zip
Datch Roll City Releases in 2013.rar
One of these I purchase from DMM.co.jp, the others I downloaded for free.
4. I open game.exe. The start page opens but when I click on 'start' nothing happens?
Do you have any more ideas I could try? Does any other member have any experience with the game and know what the problem might be?
Your folder structure looks weird and you have files with gibberish instead of japanese
