Thank you for both this and Cat Girl Alliance, and so quickly! I know that asking for help is selfish, but I got a problem. Every time I open the exe, then it opens a window, and than a separate error saying "NECEMEM.SNI is not found." And then says the game fails to set because it was not found. Help?

Edit: I dl'd it via torrent.

Maybe it's a bad day for torrents (for me at least). Had the same error here until I downloaded from MU, and that copy ran fine.
(had to do the same with Cat Girl...too weird since I almost never have problems with torrented games, now two in the same night)

hmmmn I grabbed it from MU extracted it put the crack in and made sure it worked before creating a torrent... both of them still works fine for me.

I got it from the torrent and it works fine for me so I don't think that is the problem.

I was getting that error myself. I fixed it by copying the .exe to my desktop and then making a shortcut from the original .exe on my desktop and running it via the short cut.

Hey everyone, I downloaded the torrent version and seem to be getting some errors related to the sound files. On startup, I'm getting an error that says:


I can start a new game, then when I get to the first voice dialogue:



I'm running the game via a shortcut to lcsebody.exe. I tried downloading the cracked .exe from OP (even though it says the torrent version should already be cracked) and it did nothing.

Anyone else running into this issue?

EDIT: I fixed(?) the issue by changing the file extension of SoundPackSEVo from nothing to .pak, then running the .exe. This actually produced the same error, so I changed the file extension back to nothing. When I ran the .exe again, the error ceased. I hope this helps the other people who torrented this game.

Since other people are having problems with it, I just tested the game under XP SP3 with English locale and, everything is fine. I downloaded it from the Megaupload links, and I just applied the crack like Kureha did before torrenting it.

Both this game and the Cat Girl Alliance suck imo..no plot just sex romps.
Am disappoint.

Walkthrough request.

So far it is pretty good and I would just like to say that I am glad I rediscovered this forum. You guys always have great games up.

I got the walktrough up for Catgirl Alliance (Along with my earlier savegame by following the Japanese walktrough from google translation for the two endings I had missed.) but I'll see what I can do for this game, if it plays similarly to Shera My Witch (Which it seems to, actually it's very similar.) and based on the CG the choices should be fairly straightforward along with some extra choices for CG variation ("Depth discharge", hehe the translation is OK but could be better eh?) unsure if there's any use of refusing certain characters (Side characters mainly.) as there's no energy bar this time. (Was used in Shera plus a bit under extra mode to measure character fatigue, unsure if this game has such a mode though.)

I'll see if I can put up something basic for each of the two characters once I've finished the game, so far it seems very straightforward with a few side paths for extra CG or variation of those two characters pictures.

And yes they're more about sex than story so the plot is pretty forward and simple with little variety.
(The upcoming Kira Kira and Edelweiss "fandisc" releases should be better in that regard or some of the fan translated projects also up on this site.)

Haha.. I agree with mizuno. With titles containing 'catgirl' and 'cosplay'... I doubt i you would find much depth in the story in these.. but then again... im not complaining. XDDD

The problem with long winded stories is that they are usually depressing, like Family Project. Sex brings happiness  :D

Private Nurse was pretty depressing for a sex romp, so not even this genre is safe.

That's a shame, especially, when they create some pretty interesting characters, tease us on several scenes and then we can't get an ending with any of them.

i got interested in this game because of the space pirate, only two scenes was a let down

I personally find this game much more enjoyable compared to CGA (Cat Girl Alliance).. Dont get me wrong.. CGA was enjoyable enough.. But i find that in Cosplay Alien, there's a more 'comedic element', so im enjoying this one more because of the lols...

But then again.. I have not played either game till 100% completion, so im unable to make a 'true' comparison...

hmmn I was wondering which one to play, I guess I'll play CGA first (get over the futa first) and then enjoying the other routes.

I got the same error(torrent), and tried out the shortcut, but the error continued. So i tried the age old vista fix, xp compatibility and admin privileges, and it works fine now.

sorry for the double post. the fix i mentioned above stopped working for me for some reason. Also i found a walkthrough for the game, however ive yet to play it, so i cant say how well it works.

Don't know if this will help anyone, but changing my directory name to one without the _ in the middle allowed it to run for me.  Also copied the directory, so either/both could be why it works now.

Can you make a walkthought for cat girl alliance ?

As much as i liked the h-scenes here, the normal look of the girls while talking/going to school/etc. is plain horrible in comparison imho.
Still a good no-brain hentai game.

Okay, that was amusing.  There are only three endings and the bad ending is extremely easy to avoid (just one decision on Day 11).  Too bad there wasn't a Vanilla ending...  The translation was hilariously bad, though not totally unsalvageable.  At least Ralpha's adorable.

I came across a bug and I'm wondering if it's a problem with my system or if it's happening on everyone else's:

When you run the game, go immediately to the CG gallery (you must have finished the game at least once).  For some reason, I get a graphics load error every time I try to access it from a cold boot.  If I go to the scene gallery or the options / load menus first and go to the CG gallery afterward, everything loads just fine.  Has anyone run into this issue, or is my hardware beginning to die on me?  I've CRC-checked the files and can confirm that they weren't corrupted, so I think it's either a bug or a faulty RAM stick / hard drive.

Had same problem with "SoundPackSEVo packfile is not found in SetPackFileName()" and before testing renaming thing, I stopped seeding game and tested it just once and it did work. Heh... people, me included, should remember that programs don't usually like if some part of it is in use. Make copy of it somewhere if you want to seed, don't play game from seeded folder.

Downhill Night 2 as well as Raidy 2 have been in beta testing for about a month now. No real word on a date but think they're shooting for June, Downhill to go first and Raidy right after. But don't take my word on it.
