But the way the SS ended is like a bone in the throat. It might be better to compile them later in a separate pdf/epub when all of them fully translated. Just saying, it's entirely up to you guys who makes the compilation.

Yeah, that's why it would be better to just compile the SS in a different pdf later imho as it really is just an "IF" story, and we don't even know if it will be completed in the vol 4 SS, it might be more than 2 parts.

MC have advanced space battleship and gundam mecha, only to use it for tilling the field with shovel. MC personality is bad but funny. a question, is there any drastic differences between LN and WN for this title ? E.g not just extra stories, but a complete change in storyline
Keep in mind that I read the WN a few years ago, so something here might have been incorrect.
In the first 3 Volume, there should have been only some added side story, example being : [spoiler]the queen visit in volume 2[/spoiler]. The fourth volume added a new character, for example: [spoiler]Louise[/spoiler], but other than that it is pretty much the same.
The fifth volume only has the broad stroke of the plot from WN and some changes from the WN, for example [spoiler]Serge is not adopted in WN[/spoiler].
The sixth volume doesn't exist in WN, because it focuses on character who doesn't exist there. The seventh Volume has some similarity to the ending of the arc in WN, but it does diverge quite a bit from WN, for example : [spoiler]In WN, Albergue dies and Serge live, it is the opposite in LN.[/spoiler].
The eight volume is a new addition and if I remember correctly. the ninth volume is pretty similar to the plot from WN.
So, tl;dr The first 3 volumes is pretty much the same as WN, after that the plot diverge quite a bit.
