Wow what a great light novel. I did not expect much after reading the description but in the end I've finished 6 volumes in 2 days lol. This is exactly what I needed without ridiculously OP MC, school students, retarded relationships with dense MC who is even afraid to kiss a girl, rape in every chapter etc, really refreshing.

its not that simple. for starters he didnt want anyone else but his wife. it is all about politics and bloodline etc. not just a "harem thing".

OmegaLKSG - this is a very good series IMHO. its about a guy who gets the option to transport to another world and get married to the Queen. he is then only expected to live a lazy life. of course its not that simple. i would suggest reading the first LN and see if you find it interesting or not.

Volume 11, still no harem

Half expected something on the level of an assassination or like, the MC gets transported to somewhere halfway across the world. The girls' ethnicities in the covers look completely different after all.

Hey there bud idk if you're already started this but i also want to go ahead and throw in my recommendation here.

As it's been said this one is kind of all about the politics but it's also very slice of lifeish which i personally really enjoy, also the main couple the thick queen and the regular japanese dude actually have a very sweet relationship, theres a lot of stuff about how he's trying to help his wife by not gaining any political power since a lot of people are trying to get him involved but he just wants to lead a quiet life fucking around (literally and metaphorically lol) there's also a lot of culture/technology things going on which is very fun.
It's got a pretty interesting plot going on with some people supporting him and his wife and some others trying to make use of him meanwhile he's walking a tightrope of not offending anyone and not gaining power.
Pretty unique and definetly worth a read it starts off a little slow but at the same time very interesting it's not BOOM another world thx to truck-kun they actually let him decide if he wants to go and all that stuff is pretty interesting.

J-Novel Club just announced they picked up this title.
The fan translations have stopped their translations and removed theirs.
It'll take a while for J-Novel to catch up to vol. 9 where fan translations stoppped.

That is so BS it's gonna take years for this to reach vol 9 and the translation might even have different terms.... ah this sucks man I actually love this series

I thought you meant the last 'remaining' chapters that are still missing. I don't know if anyone even saved them, perhaps Aizen? The translators removed them, so it will be pretty hard to find, even if someone saved them and even then, you will have a few chapters without the rest of Volume 9

I was just as sad as you guys when the fan translation stopped. I'm always glad to see an official translation get going, but this is going to take YEARS. You snooze you lose.

Which is why I'm working on my own translation. I've found raws up to Volume 13, and I'm working through the extra chapter of Volume 9, which will finish out that volume. I came here because traitorAIZEN is the one who put the previous volumes into nice, convenient pdfs. I've never messed with pdfs, so I'm hoping he, or someone else can help with that.

Well... has it really been two months? People must be cursing my name for getting their hopes up and then disappearing.

The extra chapter from volume 9 is done, which finishes out the volume. I honestly hate the 'maid' chapters, and I often skip them, which is why this took so long. Sorry. I'm already half way through translating the volume 10 prologue though, and it's pretty funny.

BTW: I noticed a few errors in the current epub of volume 9. In chapter 4, a whole line of dialogue is missing.

The missing dialogue is "Taraye. What coincidence meeting you here." I think it got omitted because the text was coloured on the translation group's website. There may be other similar errors with other coloured lines. Also, per the table of contents, "Return After a Month" is not an "intermission". It's an "Epiloque".

unfortunately those old chapters were deleted from the translators site so had to use the only ones i could find.

Sorry for not responding sooner. I have been thinking I'd like to do something like a blog, or at least something more generally accessible than a single forum anyway. I'd like to list my chapters on mangaupdates, but I'm also not sure how much I can get away with since this novel has been picked up by JNC.

For this, use novelupdates.com. That's the right place, they even have a forum you can seek help from. The usual way to do things is to have a wordpress blog and post your chapters there, then list your chapters on novelupdates. Though, like you said, JNC will likely chase after you.

unfortunately you can not post updates to novelupdates for this series since it is licensed. if you look you will see they have removed all links to previous translations and only list the first chapter which will take you to the official JNC page.

so yes you could make something like a wordpress blog for the chapters but where you could advertise the blog is much more limited and risky.

is that so? I just checked and yes, the old releases are hidden now, but if you press the "eye" icon right above the list, you can see the links again. The links are hidden because they're dead, the original translated texts has been removed by the translator (probably due to pressure by JNC), so they are no longer available. I'm not sure if there's a NovelUpdates policy against licensed releases but you can try asking there.

which would be them covering their backsides saying you should not be posting for licensed works. however there are still links to fan translated chapters that have been not only licensed but officially translated too. so maybe they only remove the links if asked or hide when dead.

so yes ask in the forum and you may get a more definite answer.

I used to read this series, and now curretly am waiting for more LN releases to re-start reading. If I remember correctly, infinite novels translation translated the WN version right? Are there big changes in the LN?

No, both Unlimited Novel Failures and Infinite Novel Translations were translating the LN. And from a comment by Prozess, the difference between WN and LN is that Freya and her arc were added for the LN.

I tried downloading volume 13 of risou no himo seikatsu, but the link just takes me to some spam website, linkvertise.com. I checked all the links, the regular downloads and both mirrors, and even the earlier volumes which I previously downloaded and read now go to that spam site. idk what happened, but your links aren't working anymore and won't let me download the ln volumes.

edit: yes, i read the readme, but there's supposed to be some place to click to watch some adds or visit some site and then be able to download the ln, this doesn't appear for me, just random ads for roblox or minecraft and other random thins and a searchbar up top that takes me nowhere.

@huntersorce20   When you get to the linkvertise page with the roblox or other random ads/downloads look for the red bar with a link that says direct access with premium or... the link next to it will either say free access or free access with ads. Refresh the page until it says free access (do not click on it when it says with ads) and then click on the free access link. Only click on the free access link. Do not click on anything else on that page.

i tried that, then it took me to a new page where it required me to download something to continue (either opera gx or a pdf converter or something similar). this screams malware/virus to me, and i never had to download a different app/extension to get to the previous 12 ln volumes before, so i assume it's a scam, are you saying this is what's supposed to be happening now?

It will take you to a loan2host webpage where you have to do a captcha to prove you are human. Only do the captcha and do not click on anything else. If another page opens (like one where it asks you to download anything) while you are trying to do the captcha just close that page down. The whole process is kind of sketchy with a lot of the sites that allow people to make money from people downloading their files and if you do it wrong there is a chance for malware. It is up to you whether or not it is worth it but you can make it safer by using vpn, virus protection, and reading other posts on here about how to navigate those sites safely.  If you do the captcha it will take you to another page that has a countdown timer. When the countdown reaches zero go to bottom of page and click get link here. Another loan2host page will open with a timer, close any other pages that open and click on the continue when the timer counts down. It will take you to an ouo.io site where you need to click I'm human and then click get link after the timer. Finally that will take you to the the download for the book. That is the safe path through all those sketchy sites. It is annoying but this site and the uploaders get money from the link redirects which help pay them for their efforts. You need to decide whether it is worth it in order to read a huge selection of free novels. Some people that upload to here use less redirects to get to the download than others do, but the linkvertise redirect is a recent addition that everyone is not too happy about.

ok, i'll try again, thanks for the details, i was just very confused since  it was relatively easy in the past to navigate the other 12 ln download mazes to get to the final download links for them, here it seems like they upped the difficulty again.

managed to get it at long last. when i get to the part where it asks me to download something, there's a skip ad button at the bottom, and eventually if skip enough ads, it brings up an option where all i have to do is go to another site for a minute or so instead of downloading so if i do that, while still keeping the previous tab open, then I can go back to previous tab and click "i already did this step", then navigate another ad filled page and x out all of them and click through the embedded ads and then do the captcha and finally i can click the direct download link. the odyssey is finished, and the ln vol 13 is acquired. now we rest.
