i actually just got this last week and had started working on making epubs. 

tip to not get the comments etc. for the CSS selector for element holding content try  .elementor-section

the illustrations chapter wont be grabbed properly/full but the chapters will contain much less extra stuff while retaining their images at the end of chapter etc. the illustrations chapter can be add afterwards and its all much less editing to clean up.

the other option is try .elementor-inner and you will get the illustrations pages images too. you will have some extra bits at the bottom of the rest of the chapters though.
