Well, I can explain further what i do with the epubs and how i encountered this problem : Basically i don't really use "epub's" but pdf's (on my pc as the "device" per se)
what i do is use the website https://ebook2pdf.com/ , which pretty much does a loosless conversion from epub to pdf.
The problem isn't "with every epub file" and specifically as i mentioned mostly with some of the Premium epubs (and not all of them) that come from https://thatnovelcorner.com/ which i presume are just the source files from j.novel club.
For example, other than the 3rd premium volume of Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha (which btw, volumes 1 and 2 have no problems) i can also list some others that have this exact issue : Arifureta volumes 2-7 (with the first being issue free) , Arifureta zero, Paying to Win in a VRMMO volumes 5-6
I was just curious as hell about this "issue" and figured i'd ask... i was hoping its not just a problem i was having and something known or what not...
In most cases it is just literally the cover. 1 single image that is missing after the conversion to pdf, i even checked and used a different site to eliminate it being a "bug of the site" and used https://www.onlineconverter.com/epub-to-pdf and https://convertio.co/epub-pdf/ , same thing happens with the exact files.. so i figured it can't be the "converter" and the problem with the epub file to begin with.
Previously i sometimes noticed bugs like illustrations being wrongly converted and having the wrong aspect ratio (resolution) but this is another thing.. i was just curious about the cover itself being missing on some specific epubs.
traitorAIZEN, Do you perhaps have a suggestion for a better epub->pdf conversion than the method i am using? (https://ebook2pdf.com/) i'd greatly appreciate it.

I don't know what method traitorAIZEN does but I can share my own method:

• Convert epub to docx for easier edit
• Rename epub extension to zip and extract it so you can have the "source" images with high quality
• Edit and put images in docx, this require a few Words knowledge
• Export docx as pdf

This took about 5 mins for 1 pdf but you can edit the ebook as what you prefer (I like reading in Calibri font)

mhm, interesting....Thank you! 1. I had no idea you could rename epub to .zip and extract the images... that is mind blowing to me lol and already solves my problem to begin with! so a huge THANK YOU for that. 2. ill see and test the docx method and see how that works... honestly i think i won't be using that because the amount of time + hassle it will take is just something i don't really need to begin with. the way that https://ebook2pdf.com/ converts epubs to pdfs for me is perfect. from the view/font/etc' it just had this cover bug that honestly? just extracting the cover itself might be fine for me lol. and save me the effort on doing it in any other way.

Thx guys interesting series, though i find it funny/weird that in novel updates it has quite a bit of negative reviews but none of them have to do with the series and they're all shitting on the fan translators .... welp hope they read the official release lol.

It's unfortunate that they shit on the novel just because of bad translators. It reflects badly on the novel itself and most lazy people would just turn the other way when they see awful reviews.

Not that I've read the novel itsefl yet.

Try read it. It was interesting an fun read. Personally I enjoy it.

Oh, it's Djurasico. Yeah they're fairly terrible xD

A translated novel is said to have two authors, the original author and the translator. So when the translator is not so good it does tend to (unfairly) impact on the reputation of the novel
