The First twenty chapters (more or less) were not quite good but that is because they were the first I ever wrote so please read till chapter 30 at least before deciding if it is not for you.
It really gets better eventually.

It's great that you like it. I mostly compile Harems because it always have happy endings, so I might ignore others with too much heavy drama.

A question, does the MC have an 'imbalanced' personality? I mean the usual CN overbearing and JP beta MCs...

Sorry for the late reply, but according to the author and the readers in the review section, the mc is quite irrational and arrogant, which is your typical xianxia protagonist, at the start, [spoiler="maybe"]like how he overestimated himself and provoke a fight with his half-brother which have almost caused his life. And he always get into difficult situation due to his stupid decisions but he will always 'miraculously' unlock new abilities that will save his life.[/spoiler]
But the author promised that it's only in the first 30 chapters and you can read the reviews in the Webnovel if you're still unsure.
