Is the author dropping the series?  I mean there hasn't been an update for quite sometime. And author hasn't written any new chapters. Defiring has translated all 100 chapters and no new chapters are uploaded. I'm worried

@ Aoixneko - An update depends almost entirely on the author, since they haven't finished writing volume 5 of the WN, and they have been updating at the rapid pace of 2 chapter per year. And a minor dependency on whoever might translate it. But given the author's update speed, who knows how many years it'll take to finish volume 5, if ever. You can keep a check on the progress on the WN's Syosetu page.

From some forum/Reddit posts I have a vague memory of reading a few years ago, after the LN was axed in Japan, the author said he would continue/finish the web novel, and as a shout-out to the fans who bought the LN and were disappointed at it getting axed. But I assume without giving any promises as to how quickly that would happen, hence the 2 chapters per year for 2021 and 2022, and 1 so far this year.

I can't be 100% sure how accurate my memory is though, since I haven't followed or read this novel for a few years, so I might be misremembering. But the LN being axed, and the slow updates to the WN, do match my memory of events. And it's easy to imagine the author having little motivation to continue a WN knowing the LN has been dropped.

It's sad to hear the LN got axed the story is interesting tho. I hope the author get some motivation to finish this work soon.

Can u please send me the direct link of all volumes?@ Naymin Khantnaing - Why can't you use the download links in the thread, such as those in traitorAIZEN's second post? I just checked all 5 of the main links in that post (the pdf version), and they are all online and available. If you are having trouble with the ad links then ask for help with navigating them, specifying which links or ad sites you are using, what device you are downloading with (laptop or mobile), and what browser and/or extensions you use.

But asking to be sent the direct download links is quite disrespectful to the uploader. As by doing that you're basically saying:

"I want the stuff you put your time and effort into creating, and I want to download it for free. But I also want to make sure you get absolutely no compensation for it. Not even the fraction of a cent the ad sites will pay per visit. I want to make sure you get nothing. Nothing at all". 

Which is about the exact opposite of thanking the uploader for kindly sharing the files they spent their time creating and uploading.
