On a desert island in the south there lies an all-girls school where students learn the mysterious art of alchemy. This strange academy, known as Eiden Academy, is the setting of Edelweiss, a tale of laughs and tears shared between the heroines, who lived their lives free of men on this island, and Haruma Kazushi, one of the silly boys who came here to score. This is an all-new game which picks up where Edelweiss ended.

The heroines of this new story are Takase Sakura and Fujisaki Rin, two background characters who dominated the popularity polls and conquered the original heroines. This fan-disk will present an all-new story full of laughs and naughty things.

Kazushi and Sakura are good friends. It was certainly more of a friendship than a romantic relationship, but that all changed with one exchange.

"Yeah, right! If you think you can, then go ahead and try."

One picked a fight, the other bought it, and so their love game began. With bets riding on who will win, outsiders begin to help and sabotage both sides, getting everyone involved! Who will be the winner in the end? And what will ever happen to their true feelings?!

Eiden Island threatens to sink! Will a talking Johnny save the world?

Through their work as class representatives, Kazushi and Rin have grown closer to one another. Just as they began to have feelings for each other, something terrible happens to Kazushi's crotch! His thick Johnny grows a face...and worse, it starts speaking too!!

Kazushi takes off from school to deal with the shock, but Rin soon uncovers the change in his Johnny. She decides to help him and they begin to work towards finding a cure while keeping it out of sight. Although he has to worry about his Johnny, Kazushi begins to enjoy his secret life with Rin. Neither of them ever believed it would develop into a huge incident that shook the peace of Eiden Island...

no, BGM is the better engine that MG uses for better releases, and that's the engine that they try to deter people from cracking, JBeckman already pointed out that previous ones don't work with this release.

megaupload has nothing else to offer then "The file you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable.". I cant remember when I was last able to download something from them.

well, hope you can use torrents or wait for Shinto's mediafire, DDL sites hate me, I only get a blank page when I try to access megaupload, thank goodness there is JDownloader to save the day.

Just wait another 2h13m~ for my upload to finish or give MU a good beating =)

Mediafire has been amongst the better hosts for me to download from but it won't allow me to upload and just keeps timing out so I've kept to Megaupload for that, torrents aren't possible either with me as a starting seeder due to my low upload speed (ADSL2+ connection.) which leaves HTTP or FTP solutions.

As for the game it's sort of a official addition to Edelweiss adding the girls Rin and Sakura (And only them, choice made after the prologue.) as available candidates to the main character to get together with.

Getting back to the prologue it sets the theme and mood (Or has so far atleast.) for what to expect in the rest of the game, a lot of humor and what seems like a light hearted mainly romance story.
(Main game had a few serious undertones at times for some of the girls paths.)

(Starts with Appo as he's called describing anal sex complete with voice overs for the sound effects and everything to the other guys getting desperate and using a "device" made by SONY to lose their virginity only to be exposing themselves to the majority of the female "candidates" from the first game and causing a huge misunderstanding.)

EDIT: Been away from a while so that's why I haven't checked in, nice to see everything resolved however. :)

Unpack the Game, extract the fix in the gaming folder and start the game with the fixed .exe, have fun.

I really love it, no files rooting down in the registry, free to move the folder wherever you want them. Awesome, its easy to back up most of the Visual Novel \o/

Did you notice that in the original Edelweiss Rins and Sakuras arms always had the same position (basically the only thing that changed was the facial expression)? It wasn't too bad because they were no real main characters. But it looks like that (almost) didn't change at all in Eiden Fantasia. It's a bit disappointing.

The arms aside, the new expressions are really nice and the rin plot is hilarious.
Looking forward to future games from these guys~

Deardrops, another music novel beside kirakira, the US release should be anytime this year <3

do you just choose the which girl's route to get onto or are there choices to get decide between sakura or rin that aren't obvious

At the very beginning it practically asks you which route you want to go on. Literally it will say which route and you just pick between them. Good game btw although it was a bit short only took me about 5 hours to finish all of it. But nevertheless  very humorous and interesting.

Yeah that popped up alot im not really sure why...

To me.. Im gonna assume that emoticons are those... 'japanese text smilies'... (Which i cant seem to use because i have no idea how to work the japanese texts in my keyboard, even tho i have the language bar. >_>)

my thoughts on the game: i thought the story was very lame and felt like it was put together too quickly. I liked the fact we explored the other characters but still not satisfied with story or the number of sex scenes

And like Kureha said, it's a fandisk. Which in my opinion was worth having just b/c it gave Rin a route ;p

Rin's route was awesome aswell as funny. Sakura's route was also good makes a change from the depressing endings of the normal edelweiss.

The bottom line: Nice fandisk. I would have loved to see real plots but ok, way better than nothing.(I hope Overdrive won't slack with upcoming games, they really rock)

I'm really looking forward to Deardrops. Not only because it's another music related VN and from what I can tell by the demo feels like Kirakira but Fujimaru makes for highly fappable CG.
