Description
Galaxy Angels are from the "Special Guardian Division" and they work closely with the "Imperial Special Guards" and the "Satellite Defense Teams". They are the guardians of the White Moon, the sacred planet of the Transbaal Empire, and the personal protectors of the White Moon Goddess Shatoyan. The story begins with Prince Eonia attempting a take over of the Transbaal Empire with the aid of the mysterious Black Moon, counterpart to the White Moon. To counter Prince Eonia, the Angel-tai along with their flagship the Elsior are placed in the hands of the kind and ever-capable Commander Takuto Meyers.

An English patch for the non-h game Galaxy Angel has been released.

The english patch has a read me file that u need to read before installing.
One thing that isn't mentioned is that the save game/load function is found by "shift& esc"
There is also a patch at the translator's site for subtitles in the movie.

after dling the files for each cd u need to rename adding .rar at the end of each file and then unrar. for some reason a few of the files got a + sign added in the file name--to make them compatible u need to remove the + sign.

I have attached the torrent for the game. I get the torrent from hongfire page, but i edit it to change the tracker to a live one. Just in case there are people without DHT.

From the top it's: custom, compact and standard

I guess this decides if you still need data from the cd after installing.

I used the 3rd choice "standard" when installing--It asked for cds 1,2,3 but not 4 and after cd3 it asked to put cd1 back again.  So I'm not sure what if anything is on cd4 but so far the game plays OK.  After installation I ran the update patch and then applied the english patch.

Thanks for upload, I do have problems installing it. At 33% it asks something about DISC1..tried mounting all discs but nothing.

digiz > As I recall around 33% is when it should ask for cd 2.  Using Daemon Tools u should unmount cd 1 and mount cd2 and after it is mounted click OK.  If that doesn't work then I'm not sure what the prob is.

The window says "Put in Disk1 of Galaxy Angel and press OK", so there has to be something wrong with Disk1.
Maybe you should try reloading it again. The file could be corrupt.

Hm...downloaded it from mediafire and torrent, same thing. Tried it on my laptop with win7, same thing. Using Daemon Tools Lite.

Got the same problem when i first tried to install the game and SOLVED the problem.

If you go to the DirectX folder on Disk1 you see a .txt-file with some weird name.
The problem is that the filename should be in japanese.
You can't change filenames on a mounted image, so...

1. Extract "Galaxy Angel CD1" in your download directory. (I used WinRAR)
2. find the .txt-file and change it's name to "お読みください.txt".

3.1. repack all the files again and install the game using applocale.
-OR-
3.2. install directly with the extracted files. When the installer asks you for the other Disks just mount them, choose the right CD-Drive in the installer and continue as normal
(when the installer asks for Disk1 again at the end of the installation, it shouldn't matter if you choose the old .iso-file or the folder where you extracted the files to at step1.)


ALTERNATIVLY you could just change your computers locale to japanese in the control panel, but assuming that most of you don't have enough japanese reading skills I wouldn't suggest it

I get a blank page too. Only with CD4 part2 though.

Seems like MU deleted the files btw.
