Description:
The war with the Val-Fasq begins in earnest while a couple of refugees from the legendary EDEN (the place origin of both the White Moon and Black Moon) arrive to beg the Transbaal Empire (and the legendary hero Takuto Meyers) for help. Takuto and his Angel's relationship is also put into serious jeopardy as his duties preparing for the war with the Val-Fasq keep them apart with increasing frequency.

Hmmm movie scenes not showing up. However it shows up in moonlight lovers and the first GA game. Do i need another program to view them properly?

Just finished the first two games.. Is it just me or are number two (Moonlit lovers) very very short?

I found chitose pretty interesting, but still think the game was too short (Moonlit lovers)

How bad is the interface? Is it playable for someone like me who dosent understand any japanese?

... The GA series is fun but somehow unsatisfying... it's probably the lack of intimate relations... and the reset after every game.

Only happen on Win7. To fix it, you need to play the game on window mode.
All you need to do is: make a shortcut of GAEL on your desktop then right click on it, chose properties. On shortcut tab you will see target, by add -w at the end of the line you will able to play it on window mode. Exp: "C:\Program Files (x86)\BROCCOLI\GAEternalLoversDVD\GAEL.exe" -w
It'll fix the no video problem.

Other note: I don't use the links here, and I update my game version to 1.10. So if it does not work then try update your game version to 1.10, but I don't think it will be necessary. In case you did update your game, you will need to apply the patch again, because some line will be in JAP.

for the movie, i once experienced it when playing ML, but it was solved when i installed CCCP 2010
well, try installing new movie codec maybe?
i use win7 and i play it in full screen

haven't try it on EL though, since i'm still downloading it =_=

if i remember right, after clearing a girl's route, you can do battles in first person view (of that girl's ship) while still issuing command to other ships

my battle screen looks like that...
i tried running it in windows mode, update it to 1.10, and it's still the same
the only way out is to set it in 640x480 resolution... but now the screen feels too narrow =__=
so, are you all playing with 640x480 resolution too? or is there any other way to play it on at least 1024x768?

K, there is a easier solution for no Video bug. You can just simply right click on GAEL then chose properties, on compatibility tab check "disable desktop composition" box. Now you can play full-screen :).


It's the patch glitch. Aroduc gonna roll back the "combat graphics" files to fix it. But as he said "this is not a high priority" so I'm not sure when he will fix it.

oh and, just small information that maybe lots of you already know
if there are any of you who don't care about the battle and just want to read the story...
open the GAELconfig.ini in the installation folder, look for
skip_slg=0   and change it to 1
now you will skip all battle and proceed the story faster...
but missing 50% the fun of playing galaxy angel :p

K, here a simple solution for people cant wait for the patch that fix the resolution glitch that make it only playable on 640x480.
In dat file in the game's directory, delete 2 files "gadat020.p00, gadat020.pak". Then run the game's setup(like when you setup the game), chose fix (the middle 1)....Tah dah! Now you can play it on 1680x945 resolution!!. Well, some stuff will turn into JAP though (images only, every lines are still in English).

I hope my explanation is understandable, if not then I will stop being lazy and make it more detail :|

When i arrive to the first combat mission the game freeze directly when my fighters attack the enemy ,i tried to do what they said on seiha by going to
Control Panel->Language->Formats->Advanced
and change the decimal separator to a dot '.'
but it didn't work for me so I can't play at all. Do you have any idea of what might be the problem ?

sorry, i've never experienced the error like yours, so i can't give any suggestion...
how about you skip the first battle and try again on the second battle?

Thanks for the info, but it's a waste not being able to play the battles. But it's possible that I changed the wrong thing in the Control Panel. Can someone make me a screen of his settings ?

Im still using version 0.98a 'Full'... Did a quick check on the battle controls before updating to latest 1.10, and everything was fine... Even in full screen...

1.10 is an official patch, 0.98 is Aroduc's translation patch.

hay, sorry to Necropost but the multiupload link for the 1.10 patch seems to be broken, at least i get an error page saying ti can't establish a connection, i'm using chrome is it matters

can someone post up another link for the 1.10 patch, not sure if it's the site itself or if chrome is being a bitch again (last night was trying to download an NPC Mod for Mineccraft and the downloads kept getting interupted for some reason)

if it's the site than may i suggest mediafire as an alternate upload site, it's reliable and apart from it's 200 MB limit it seems to be filling the void Megauploads left when the US decided to butt fuck every legitimate download on there and close the entire site down
