Do note that if you got the patch early after it was initially released, you should re-download. Patch was updated twice since initial release with some crash fixes.

Also, apparently not all crashes can be fully prevented because of how word wrap works, so if you get a crash with error message during the game, try running mon_que_NOwordwrap.exe and use it to get over the point of crash.

Alice gets more expressions xD and the story is surprisingly enjoyable for a game where monster girls assault you sexually.

Even if you get the full patch... it's basically 3 distinct 33% segments and then there's supposed to be a MQ 3 for another probable three parts...

well, its not that big a deal since RT works fairly fast anyway.

I have problems with this patch. Instead of text dots are appearing which is strange considering that previous patch worked fine.

Oh God those Dieselmine games are holding me down. And I promised myself I would follow this season's anime because of Mysterious Girlfriend X, Medaka Box, Accel World and stuff. hraahhhhhh

Games are meant to be enjoyed anyways, so it's not a bad thing to have a huge backlog so long as... I guess it's a state of mind.  I prefer to have a huge backlog rather than waiting for new games to come out.

I agree, I hate having an empty backlog because then I don't have that much to procrastinate on without being productive and having fun, well, that's the main reasons anyway. I believe I still have most of 2010-2011's animes to watch.

i think it's about time we remove the "partial" tag...

... There's more parts aren't there?  You shouldn't be so obsessed with the monster encyclopedia since one installation error means starting from the beginning again, it happened to me. =-="

And for part 2, we should remove the partial tag, it's deceptive to make people think this ain't done.

Part three doesn't even have a tentative release date at the moment, and translator has stated that barring force majore situations he will work on it when it's released.

Partial tag nuked. Sorry, this site has been a bit unstable for me last week, so I tried to edit initial post as little as possible so it won't get accidentally messed up without ability to fix. Is it awfully slow for everyone else too?

You're not the only one having it slow but I've gotten used to that so I took it for granted.

It's pretty fast for me these days... or maybe it's erratic but mostly it's fast... barely 0.2 seconds slower than some other forums, and still faster than others.

It's getting better lately, and I didn't mean as it was a constant type of slow here. There is the occasional slow-down where a page will takes about 10 minutes to load but that seems to mostly be on the editing page and the account settings/profiles.

Bleh; power went out while I was starting the game up, and now it won't acknowledge any of the stuff in the save folder or the old monsterpedia data. Is there any way to straighten that out, or is it unrecoverable?

The awe of this game is overwhelming.  This is exactly what it's labelled. NG+ It helped me fill the holes in my encyclopedia at least.

Shameless rebump, as MGQ 3 is coming to full translation I tried to get back my game and play it back from scratch (Sadly a tragedy happened and all my files are lost) Can someone reupload an english patch for MGQ 2?
