Yeah, even the 9.22 file I had was downloaded in late 2011, so it's not exactly a new version (it's still in beta too). This is why I prefer .rar files over .7z files. 7zip just seems to be a really fickle format despite supposedly being supported by several different programs.

Geckoey Lurker

I've personally never had any issues with 7-Zip, but had a lots of issues with Win-rar, which is why I started exclusively using 7-Zip.
Yet.. everyone seems to have issues with 7-Zip. It's kinda odd how that works.

Each person has their own preference on things this is just one of them. Cant be helped. If person wants to use 7-zip let them. Besides you should be grateful they even uploaded you know. Winrar 7-zip just different means for the same end in my opinion.

Geckoey Lurker

That is not the discussion, also I'm the uploader, I appreciate the support but there is no ungratefulness at all here. We were simply discussing issues.

Edit:
When I say issues, I mean technical problems and not really about the preferences. If it was down to that I would still be using both.

CFreak

WinRar seems to work most of the time for me, although sometimes it completely refuses to work with certain archives that contain Japanese character files while having no issues with other similar archives. 7zip seems to be more... random with its failures for me.

And yes, there's no ungratefulness here (really, thanks a lot for the upload!), just bitching about why compression software just won't work the same for everyone who uses it  :)

when you right click on the first file do you get a 7-zip option that extended to a larger menu that has a bunch of other option like Open Archive, Extract File ...etc... ? Or you just have a line that says "7 zip console" ?
I disabled 7zip's context menu, but I definitely opened the archive through it. The message even changed after updating it, claiming that it's not a proper 7z file. Mega was being retarded while I was downloading. Probably one of the files got corrupted.

I'm not sure what else to do then. I used the 7z922.exe you can download from http://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenzip/files/7-Zip/9.22/ to open it, and it worked for me, whereas my old 9.20 install couldn't. Not sure if the version is the issue, but that's the only difference I could see. It (9.20) worked just fine on the 7zip files for regular Majikoi that I downloaded from this site, so I'm not sure what would be different about the Majikoi A archives.

Opening it through the 7-zip file manager works perfectly now.

I updated from 9.20 to 9.30 and only the error message changed, from an unexpected error to the the one mentioned above.

I saw that post, but I had already deleted the files at the time.

Sorry, I completely forgot about it. It's actually been out since a couple of weeks.
I don't really know when I'll upload it personally, so if anyone else want to go ahead.

For now here's a torrent a quick search on Nyaa gave:
http://sukebei.nyaa.eu/?page=view&tid=285846

Didn't test it, but seed numbers usually don't lie, so it should work and be safe.

2013-08-03 Edit:
Uploaded A-2 and its crack to MEGA, I don't intend to upload it to MF anytime soon unless it's requested.
Check OP for links and all.

2013-08-05 Edit:
I can't get over Cookie 4th now.

Semut1

Excuse Me, my browser can't open MEGA, if I may to request, can you upload the crack to MediaFire?

Thank You  :)

CFreak

I'll see if I can get it uploaded to my MF folder later.

*Edit*

Oh wait, wrong Majikoi topic. Nevermind >_<

I want to know, is "Azumi's Route" already fully translated?
Because when I choose her route, in the start of her route is already translated, different from "Benkei's Route" that has not been translated at all

Thanks  :)
