i think you are puzzeled between these 2 series "Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu" and "Dai Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu"

Dai Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu which is the sequel of Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu is done by baka-Tsuki

there is also a prequel of Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu which is known as Ochita Kuroi Yuusha no Densetsu

No mistakes. "Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu" is completely translated, Vol. 1-11, by Baka-Tsuki.

The sequel "Dai" Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu is partially translated by Baka-Tsuki till Vol. 8 and was dropped because it got licensed.

The prequel "Ochita Kuroi Yūsha no Densetsu" which he also translate are not complete, he only picks the regular chapters leaving those extra/bonus chapters for later.

He does the main series "Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu" again not "Dai". So why translate already translated books? They are good quality fan translation and no MTL involved or translation from other language.
That puzzles me.

is this "Dai" Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu?

Not Dai it is the first Densetsu series translated again. Maybe he doesn't like the Baka-Tsuki one or want to compare his skills to another one.
