Does anybody know the continuation of this LN?

Supposedly it was all covered in season 2 well enough so the trans skipped it so i am bumbed out also since it reveals some shit that wasnt covered like thw whole romance of itamis subordanite with the blond noble lady but the manga seems to be covering it

It seems GATE has more Volume 11+ that contains side stories of previous arc/volumes, therefore the main story already ended.

Honestly, I somehow relieved w/ the ending but with a mixed of disappointment.

No there are more books, thats the end of season 1.

The light novel right now has 20 book\volumes already released!
So there are still 10 more books\volumes to go! These 10 books\volumes are the season 1.5,
since they are side stories but they continue the history after volume\book 10,
at least books\volumes 11 to 18 do! Volumes\books 19 and 20 are side stories that happen before or between the season 1 stories.

And the season 2 of the light novel is probably on the way, since the novel already got a season 2, the novel is the source material but the light novel is the same thing
as the novel, word by word(the text = history, doesn't change at all), the only differences are that the light novel divided each book of the novel
into two smaller and cheaper books\volumes and images were add to illustrate a few scenes!

The Novel right now has 11 books already released(the 10 first books are the season 1 + season 1.5 and book 11 is the start of the season 2)
and the first 10 of these books were already launched in light novel format! Just like i said, the light novel divided each book of the novel into two books\volumes,

A brief summary of each book:

[spoiler]Novel Book 1-3 or Light Novel volumes\books 1-6: is covered by the anime (Contact arc, flame dragon arc and upheaval arc). Just remember that the anime changed a lot of things, added others and removed others! The end of the anime is somewhat filler.

Novel Book 4 or Light Novel volumes\books 7-8: Meeting with Hardy reveals what the gate is, and why it was opened. As well as fate of two worlds for having a dimensional portal open for so long. And also the conflict with zorzal's forces intensifies a lot.(You can tell by the name of the arc "Full Assault\All-out Attack").

Novel Book 5 or Light Novel volumes\books 9-10: Final conflict with Zorzal's forces, as well as international sabotage leading to closing of the gate.

Novel Book 6 or Light Novel volumes\books 11-12: Itami and Pina are stranded in the southern sea kingdoms together, and befriends mermaids. Pina is captured mistaken for a pirate girl, and kingdom is facing a possible civil war. Itami must somehow save Pina, and Sugawara attempts to defuse the situation.

Novel Book 7 or Light Novel volumes\books 13-14: A festival is planned in Alnus to celebrate birth of Bozes and Tomita's newborn. Demigods from around the world gather and that turns Alnust fest into a massive unprecedented event in the Gate world. Meanwhile we learn Rory's past and how she became an apostle, as well as introduced to a new apostle who has a misunderstood grudge on her.

Novel Book 8 or Light Novel volumes\books 15-16: Itami and Tuka heads to the northern kingdoms in search of Tuka's father. In book 7(Gaiden book 2), one of the apostle reveals his survival. Itami is turned into a fearless Dragon Knight to overcome his feat of flying on drakes, and ends up becoming a legend in the northern lands as the pair gets caught in a racial civil war brewing in the northern kingdoms.

Novel Book 9 or Light Novel volumes\books 17-18: Lelei plans and organizes to build a new gate to connect back to Japan. Her plan is foiled and destroyed by ploys of Lady, a empire noble with grudge on Bozes. Lelei is faced with failure for the first time in her life, but finds strength to find an unconventional way to build the gate...

Novel Book 10 or Light Novel volumes\books 19-20: Miscellaneous short stories from various time in the story. Yao's Minotaur dungeon adventure, Pina's teenage Rose Knight story, Kuribayashi right before joining the 3rd recon, etc.

Novel Book 11\Novel Season 2 book 1: The second season begins with a new story where commander Goro Etajima and his crew(from the JSMDF) must rescue an abducted American journalist from the Akumi Special Region using the JMSDF Kitashio(submarine).[/spoiler]
