Suffering from a fatal wound, you have lost your memories and were taken back to Eruru's village. The villagers not only gave you a place to stay, but also a new identity, Hakuoro.

To return their kindness, you helped them by farming and harvesting crops and doing small favours.

However this tiny north eastern village is under the iron clad rule of a difficult daimyo. This greedy person wants to take all of the crops you have worked so hard to harvest as taxes. Rescue the kind people who have looked after you and rise against the lord.

A patch for voices is currently being released for Utawarerumono. Its only at version 0.4 at the time of this post.

Keep in mind that this is using the voices off of the PS2 version, which has no ero scenes, so of course the ero scenes still will have no voice with this patch.

Also note that you need a file off the PS2 version of the game to make it work, so i provided a torrent i think i found on hongfire. Ill probably seed it atleast a week, but probably longer.

Edit: forgot to mention, i have not tested this yet at all, so i have no clue if this will work with the no dvd patch.

I haven't had too much trouble for most of the files here but this one has me stumped. What programs do I need or steps should I take to make this one run?  I believe this thing is telling me it can't find the dvd and I'm sure it has something to do with that .lac file but I can't figure out how to make it work.

The Steps to play this game would be:

1. Unrar the rar file
2. Mount UTAWARE_DVD.iso ( I use daemon tools light )
3. Execute the patch file ( Utawarerumono_English_v1.1_[mirror_moon_&_Soylations].exe )
4. Follow the Steps on the installation screen
5. After finishing installing the game, start it by executing "utaware-dvd.exe" in the installation folder

Important: Game dvd needs to be mounted in order to play it.

Oh damn... I must be asleep.  My winrar settings make .iso files show up as a winrar archive so I was just extracting the iso instead of mounting it.  Thanks for your reply it made for a good wakeup.  :-[

Just wondering, is the game multi-ending ?

I played this long time ago, but i think there is only 1 ending. At least, i remember i play through it once only.

It has only one ending I believe though there is a extra scene and two CG you get for replaying the game on hard.

It has only one ending; there is a cg unlocked finishing it on hard mode and another cg (nearly the same cg) if you collect all the titles, that is reaaaaally difficult,

This game is number one in my books too bad there wasnt any choices in it though...

This is why I hate DDLs someone only has to get one part taken down to screw with everyone. With a torrent, not so much.

looks like the 1st part of MF is broken...

I downloaded it just to make sure. You should check if the fault isn't on your part before saying that what someone else did is broken, which it isn't.

ugh, sorry mana, i didn't mean to blame anyone... just irritated by my own bad luck m(_ _)m
these are my steps before i posted here... please tell me if i missed something

i extracted it and got a message indicating  that  part 1 encounters an error
at first the iso was deemed corrupted and deleted right after it was extracted
then i repair the part 1, still getting the same message, but the iso remains
tried mounting it and running the setup
a command prompt-ish window appear for a split second before closing by itself
and then there's nothing...

if there's nothing wrong with that, i think i'll just re-dl the 1st part for now... ;___;
