Just wanna ask, does it work for windows 8? Cause I did all the necessary stuff but when i run the application it gives me an error with the words "DCOCE1218C014861GP and some japanese words"

My primary HDD recently went kaput and I lost a good deal of stuff, saves among other things, well the ones I didn't back-up anyhoe.
Short of re-installing the game, and going through the entire game again just for ya, you'll have to ask someone else to provide.

Alternatively, you can try using a 100% Japanese Save, it COULD work - but I can't promise anything. I suggest backing-up your saves before trying it out, too.
Simply head to http://g-seeker.net/game/m/majikoi.html , and click on «セーブデータ». (Image)

Default location for Majikoi's saves is @ %userprofile%\documents\みなとそふと\マジこい！\Save\

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, because I had the same problem, last month my primary HDD was attacked by CRC, so I must change my primary HDD with the new one, I have to re-install all of my games and all of important programs again,

Good news, folks over at Fuwanovel finalized the translation and released it just a few days ago. Just check their thread for patch links @ http://forums.fuwanovel.org/index.php?/topic/6556-majikoi-translation-project/ Also includes an uncensor for the h-scenes. Only took 5 years to see a complete patch!
