The game takes place in the fictional Hotel Dusk, a small, somewhat rundown hotel located in the southwestern United States near Los Angeles, California during the year 1979. The game's protagonist is Kyle Hyde, a former member of the New York Police Department searching for his old partner, Brian Bradley. During his stay at the hotel, Kyle unravels a mystery shrouded in the hotel's past that may lead him to the answers he's looking for.

How to solve double switch "puzzle" (emulator only):
[spoiler]1 ) Go to the point where you have to switch on both Switch at the same time(Electric room)
2 ) Like the no$gba, switch on the 1st button(left or right), and then pause the game(not the right click, but the 'Pause' button on your keyboard)
3 ) Move your mouse to the middle of the 2 switches(red box)
4 ) Imagine it was the 2nd switch, and move it up as you pressed the Frame Advanced button(Default button is 'N')
5 ) That should make the actual 2nd switch to be switched on, and the puzzle solved.[/spoiler]
