Seen some people ask if a new volume can be posted or if someone can translate it etc.

To clear it up a bit:

• The novel got picked up to be officially translated by YenPress link: https://yenpress.com/9781975359058/the-eminence-in-shadow-vol-1-light-novel/
• As of this date theres 3 volumes out that are officially translate
• Anything else ( form this date ) that is posted after volume 3 is most likely the Web novel version (original writer online posts)
• If you cant wait for the official translation read up on the web novel ( WEB NOVEL tab ) link in traitoraizens post page 1
• The LN varies from the Web novel as it has been professionally edited

on a side note:
Theres ~3-5 months in between official translated Novel releases, volume 4 will most likely come out in the month  july~august ( just a speculation )
finally is it worth reading? heck yes, ill even go as far as to say read the Web novel then the LN.

Finally Currently the RAW web novel has 204 chapters everything till that point has been translated. The writer is stated as being on a "hiatus" with the last post of the WN being posted in 2019.

Most likely this was also the time the RAW LN got released and he was bussy rewritting pieces or going over it with the editor. Yen press relased 3 volums but raw is 4 volums and last volume is fan translation to the last light novel volume which is volume 4 and no it is not web novel version

WN stopped being translated because Author stopped updating the WN. The latest raw WN chapter is 204 which was kind of released only to announce that we will get an anime.
