Plot Summary:
Imamiya Satoshi, "Sasshi" to his friends, has grown up in the Abenobashi Shopping Arcade in Osaka, along with his childhood friend, Asahina Arumi. Now, all that was stable in his life is in ruins. His family's bath house has closed and been torn down, and Arumi's family is moving to Hokkaido - and taking her with them. In the midst of all this, something happens to the framework of reality, and Sasshi and Arumi slip into a weird parallel world. It's still Abenobashi, but not their Abenobashi. Strange things are afoot, and Sasshi must find out their meaning, in order to reach a goal that he barely understands.

Good old stuff >o<

Seeing how you labeled it 420p, is that a rip of the blurays ? Because I only got the very original subbed version, wouldn't mind some polished picture quality.

Good? Only if you watched it before it derailed into a pseudo-intellectual story about the loss of innocence. And old? Then what's this Zeta Gundam in 720p that I have over here? Pre-historic?

480p or 720x480/640x480 Progressive are standard DVD resolutions.

Meh, it aired in 2002, guess it's not thaaaaat old, on the other hand it's not fresh neither, so what do you call that middleground ? Milf age ? 9 years in the anime buisness is a pretty long time though, so I think we can settle on old.

About being a good anime or not, It depends on how you wanna watch it. If you go in there and start analysing that anime as some deep message ... well I doubt it's gonna be any fun. I on the other hand just enjoyed the randomness of every episode and all the new settings they showed. Combine that with some nice comedy and it was a pretty good anime.
But ofc, arguing about tastes over the inet = epic win.

Mana

I had to analyze it when it tried too hard to be DEEP. If the authors don't want their works to be beaten senseless, they shouldn't pull stunts like that one.
